>Connverse
Terrible. They would never have children together nor should they

No.

No, none of my favorite cartoons would really work with a next-gen equivalent.
Also, Steven Universe has shitty writing and there's no way anyone involved could do a story about Steven as an adult man that didn't absolutely reek. These are the same people that explained Rose needing to give up her physical form as her gem having to substitute DNA for an egg cell while simultaneously allowing her to shapeshift the diploid cells needed for a womb aaaa

me on the right

>mixed couple makes a mixed baby
gross, breed within your own race

What autism is this. Did you seriously try to say what is essentially a god queen of an entire alien race can't do something impossible? Maybe that "bad writing" is your own cognitive dissonance and your inability to cope with it.

>Can't do something impossible
That's not any part of my post. The stupidity is in saying Rose has to sacrifice her physical form because her gem is required to translate into a single animal cell when she had to shapeshift an animal womb that comprises entirely of animal cells more complex than the one she apparently had to die to create.

I'd watch a cosmic show about the consequences of a disbanded Gem Empire leaving a void in power with a new pov protagonist, perhaps against a new villain like Metal Men or w/e

Do you think Steven’s cum is pink?

I have no problem with "The Next Generation" in the Star Trek format. But I'm thinking you mean more like this. I think the format of hereditary storytelling is a weird thing.

I have to admit it conceptually has some greater artistic legitimacy than the "I'd like this to go on forever so I will never make an ending" but it boils down to "Having bankable established elements/characters/settings to sell at best a slightly different show". Especially when most cases rather than make slightly off-model versions of the same characters somehow exist without. Then go through mental gymnastics to avoid treading the same ground, or why the issues can't be dealt with by the wealth of established proactive characters unless they've all become fat layabouts.

It depends on which cartoon.
It could work for mlp

Steven Universe should be a sequel focusing in a young adult Steven

Only if it features the previous main character as the wine aunt character.

>Star a drunk moms-friend who gets inappropriate after her 4th glass of rosé
>Corners Janco during a cinco de Mayo pool party when he’s pouting in the living room
>Tells him he reminds her a lot of Marco when he was a teen, grabs on his shoulder and rubs her chest against him
>the boner is now
>Star notices and giggles, brushing the pants-goblin with the tips of her fingers
>offers to make him the best cinco de Mayo molé he’s ever tasted

Mankind can go nine months without its divine ruler.

Yellow can be in charge of keeping Earth safe for a while while she works on the Cluster. What’s the worst that could happen?

>”But Marco 2.0, I am an adult.”

Please, burn that image. My eyes are bleeding.

Yes absolutely.

>boringmark

Star could be done with an after season limited series.
I'd watch a Star vs. Future, specially if they deconstruct Star as they did with Steven (or at least finish deconstructing Star to Steven levels)

No, because they’re a terrible pairing, Connie is too independent to have a family, and that child would constantly deal with parents who are in an awful relationship

Cringe
