How does this place feel about Spyro?

Original and reboot spyro are pretty cool, Skylanders spyro, which probably is the only thing that qualifies Spyro as Yas Forums is pretty crappy from a design stand point but I don't know much outside of that.

Spyro and Crash could not get their animated series but characters from Rayman 2 did

Eh... it really depends on where you stand regarding some of the non-Insomniac entries.

Fun cartoony collect-a-thons. Could easily been turned into a cartoon, excluding the Skylanders cartoon.

love the originals but fuck reignited, awful remake that's designs got completely overtaken by furfaggotry

I don't visit Yas Forums because I don't hate myself to that extent but didn't know people actually disliked the new style, I can see a preference to the original but never full dislike. You are right though they definitely seem more fuckable now but I don't really try to think about it.

An okay-ish cartoon for little kids based on a toys-to-life game franchise that had Spyro's name on it to sell more copies.

The dragons in the first PS1 game's remake were redesigned by an actual furry, so it's not like anyone's seeing things.

most of the skyboxes dont even match their levels on top of this brown color filters placed everywhere to give it muh shading jjjbut they wouldnt need to do that if they actually got shaders to work properly
the range in model quality is staggering but those work for hire scalies didnt waist anytime perfecting every single thing that had scales

spyro was known for hi def texturing in a very artistic way, including the skybox on top of the limitations of low poly which most ps1 games did not do at the time. Trying to recreate that is impossible but spyro is by far not the worse remake out there in recent years.

I thought Skylanders Academy was a decent show
