ITT: Shows that deserved a second season
not really, don't get me wrong I love clone high but it really didn't need another season
No show “deserves” to have a second season.
Sym Bionic Titan.
I don't like how this show got dismissed as a second rate Archer rip off. It was nothing like Archer whatsoever.
This show was kind of weak, but, if given the chance, had potential to be better.
If only vaporware 80's shit had reached more mainstream popularity at the time it would have got another season.
If only a lot of comedy central's animated 2010's series had gotten more than 2 seasons. They tried and maybe we should just be happy with what we got.
Apparently in Spider-Verse, Abe and Kennedy get a cameo on a billboard that says Clone College.
It sucks that they actually had a concept and some scripts for season 2. But it got shut down by whatever jew dick was fucking Lazzo's loose asshole at the time to make way for woke shows like loiter squad.
Yeah, it had a really good run. That first season had a ton of energy, so it's hard to imagine them matching that level with a second season.
I've seen enough shows fizzle out over time that I'm happy with ending on a high note.
The first episodes were weak af, but as it went on it got more insane and fun.
Speaking of spiders...
WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY CLUB
I DO NOT WANT YOU IN MY CLUB
Man, this show had everything regular show didn't. It's a shame we never got to see how the Mad Scientist vs. Government clone aspect played out after the finale.
I did like the concept of them being subtly cloned historical figures similar to clone high.
Ok, but it really wasn't funny. It had funny moments, but all that style won't go anywhere without good writers.
It honestly could have used an overarching plot.
This show probably would have done better if they released it after aqua teen had ended. It was way too edgy for it's own good at the time.
I had no idea at the time how accurate this show was to the real thing
Worth it though, so totally worth it
I watched this episode for the first time today, and holy fuck how did they get away with putting this on Cartoon Network?
I don't know how they did it but after I picked my jaw up off the floor I laughed my ass off and clapped to an empty room
I quote undergrads so fucking much. I watched it in high school and now I'm in college, shit was so fucking accurate in terms of social life it's not even funny
I liked the kind of anti-family message this show had. It wasn't amazing but a second season could have built some more and different character development. But it seemed like TBS never wanted it to succeed
This was better than half the dog shit that came after it. Really is a shame.
And it was probably cheap as fuck to make.
I remember watching the first few episodes when they aired, but never finished it. Did it really deserve another season? I think I remembered tim meadows on it.
I still mourn this never getting picked up...
This felt like more of a spiritual sequel to home movies than bobs burgers did
Grew up in Canada in the late 90's. Would watch the detour when my grand parents went to bed. Episodes of Clone High, Undergrads, Mission Hill, and the Oblongs, every night, all classic all taken too soon. RIP.
I never see undergrads discussed here, and I hate that.
Viacom knows fuck all about programming. They want every Nick cartoon to be the next Spongebob and every one of the few Comedy Central cartoons to be the next South Park.
Adult Swim wants to but it is just so expensive.
They could do computer animation now though.
With Primal coming out it's worth the shot if they can reduce the budget with all the online programs
trip tank sucked
what really deserved more than two seasons was ugly americans
