Thanks to this movie nobody will ever take him seriously again due to that voice.
This is the single worst thing to happen to bane ever
Nah, his appearance in Batman and Robin was worse.
user lets not pretend Bane was in good shape before this. True this did him no favors, but neither did Batman and Robin. More than that, forgetting adaptations, Bane has been a joke after Knightfall because that's the only feat he's ever done. He's a one hit wonder. Besides "breaking the bat" there's nothing else to him
Uhhh...I got nuthin'
OF COURSH!
Tom Hardy is still bae tho
Someone get this hothead outta here
I don't know, it led to some funny shit in the Lego Batman movie.
You’re way overreacting. Most people were fine with it. Normally he’s just a joke to most people since he’s some super roided out Mexican monstrosity. He was never cool or scary.
Going to be honest, I think this was probably the most amount of respect he's been shown in a long time. He was a good villain in it, and while his voice may be memeish, it WORKED, and he was a pretty intimidating character.
This was fine. Was it 100% comic accurate? No. But it felt the movie and he was appropriately threatening. Not to mention he had some great lines when he was demolishing bruce early on.
This was a good bane take and worked for the nolanverse especially well.
I'm going to say his convoluted plan in Kings run was pretty bad writing. So bad I started using the TDR voice in my head while reading it to make fun of it.
>appropriately threatening.
He was not the least bit threatening
I'm sorry. Did he or did he not while the floor with batman, see through all his tricks, and break his fucking back? I would call that a threat.
I disagree. Its his best interpretation since Secret Six and his first appearance.
I never said he wasn't capable, I said he wasn't threatening. Like or not, Nolan Batman at times got silly than Schumacher
Was baiting baneposters part of the plan?
I unironically love this Bane.
That Bane wouldn't stand a chance against pic related, right?
Yeah still not buying it from muffled Sean Connery.
They made him popular, changed up his origin but still had him as a smart and physically imposing fighter. They removed his reliance on venom and gave him a sweet jacket. Because of the movie he got used more in the comics and he benefited from it. The voice may have been a meme but it's not like he's a laughingstock. The movie created a dozen memes, most of which from the plane scene.
For you.
Bane was literally the most threatening villain in the Nolanverse. He was an ominous motherfucker.
This is the single worst thing to happen to Deathstroke ever.
Thanks to this movie nobody will ever take him seriously again because he's the entire CIA.
What kind of pussies are you people? No, I'm not intimidated by the respirator wearing jackass where they used camera tricks to make him look taller.
And yeah I'll fucking say it, Nolan Batman is overrated as shit. Begins was the best film
>Deathstroke
The fuck are you even talking about?
wait CIA was suppose to be deathstroke?
Yep.
This is promo material for TDKR about CIA, check Aliases.
>Slade
>Slade Wilson
Reminder that only a TRUE badass could survive a plane crashing WITH NO SURVIVORS
you don't want to mess with CIA
BANE!?
Why is baneposting eternally evergreen
