Very underrated show. Did you like it as a kid?
Ginger:
Watched the occasional episode. Way ahead of its time. Had it released years later with the internet closer to what it is now it'd have been a way bigger hit. The episode with Ginger's poem that gets misinterpreted as a cry for help and the Seal Girl one stuck with me the most.
Also you just know that Courtney was totally written to be gay for Ginger. Nowadays they could actually get away with it.
One of the ugliest shows of its time.
>Did you like it as a kid?
No. Character designs were too ugly.
Couldn't get past the art style.
Her VA was Elora in Spyro 2.
:(
I remember posting a thread about this a couple of years ago. Same responses.
No but for some god damn reason, my mother loved this show. Probably the only Klasky-Csupo show she liked because she though Rugrats was gross.
Seriously, if a show is ugly it really kills the chance some people will even try to watch it.
If Venture Brothers looked like 12 oz. Mouse it would not have done as well as it did.
only saw one episode, where the popular girl goes to camp with her because of some deal and she has a crush on one of the counselors
if I was a teenager at the time I’d probably got more invested in it
>Did you like it as a kid?
I thought it was boring chick stuff.
>Ginger premiered 20 years ago
I was a young boy when this came out.
I could not associate with the main character.
I enjoyed it. Used to watch it in my early teens.
>Did you like it as a kid?
I had a penis and the characters were not attractive.
So no.
But I respected it for what it was, if that makes sense.
No shit? Thats neat

WELL GEE FUCKING WHIZ, WHAT A SHOCK.
TURNS OUT THE DUST HAS SETTLED ON A SHOW THAT'S 20 FUCKING YEARS OLD. WHO COULD HAVE EXPECTED SUCH A THING?
It was super hit or miss for me. The art was awful, but i was desperate and there was nothing else on, so I'd watch it.
I liked it as a kid and I still like it now. It tackles interesting issues and was definitely a bit ahead of its time.
Her two friends destroyed the retarded notion I had that unpopular kids were inexplicably sympathetic people.
Wonderful show! I think the Klasky Csupo art style was at it's strongest here.
yes because I self inserted as ginger
God she looks even worse in the second panel. Shows you the real problem were those cancerous meaty lips all along.
The only think I remember about that show was the mold episode and it freaked me the fuck out
I liked it quite a bit. Would usually have a slight preference for the B plot with her brother most of the time, but that was probably because I was a young boy so you know demographic identification and all. I think what I liked about the show a lot was her mom, was a little different than the other moms on tv. Kind of like my own mother in a lot of ways. It was nice too see.
The popular girl that was gay for ginger is the only character i liked
Is because you were also a popular girl with a crush on another girl, or because you wanted the popular lesbian to have a crush on you?
Same here, the only thing I remember about it that would be even remotely interesting for boys was the fact that her brother was into weird animal collecting or experiments or some shit
No.
Fucking ugly and a show for teenage girls in my opinion as a kid.
FUCKING UGLY
