I know no one really liked the US Acres part of Garfield & Friends, but the comic strip is pretty great

I take offense to that, I enjoyed US Acres, mostly Roy and Wade's antics.
Was kind of surprised to discover the actual comic strips and discover Wade was a bit of an asshole.

Sorry, user, I also liked US Acres, but I know a lot of others have expressed disdain to the segments, I will say I liked the later episodes more when they got more meta and slapsticky
yeah US acres rocked.
it's just Orson who was lame.
My dislike towards Orson is that he was really underutilized. Most episodes that directly focused on him would play pretend and read books, which is really boring. I like when he actually held his ground and was an actual authority figure to the other animals.
I don't get it. Is the little floatie duck head actually sentient?
It's an AI that puppets his emotions.
Its his dick, the floatie has a gloryhole.
In Panel 2, Wade's fingers are buried in the pig's nose, with the thumb pointing to the right. Because it is his left hand. this means that his hand is palm-down.
However, in Panel 3, his hand has flipped directions, and his thumb is now pointing to the right (palm up). What an embarrassing drawing error.
I hope someone was fired for this blunder.
I like U.S. Acres
.0
He was using the torque of twisting his hand to pull his snout.
This art isn't bad actually, I'm guessing this is one of the last times Jim got to have fun doing a comic
Is Garfield's love of lolis canon?
>but I know a lot of others have expressed disdain to the segments
You mean Plebbitors.
But that would still require either the snout to be twisted, which it is not.
Watch the cartoon for Roy, Wade and Lanolin read the comics end up reading them for those same three characters again.
Apparantly the reason Jim Davis created US Acres was because he felt newspaper comics were getting too adult once he heard one of his kids ask him what a transvestite was after reading a comic strip in the paper.
I'm probably one of the few people here who actually read through a year's worth of US Acres strips and I can safely say, it stinks.
I found this funny as a kid, but I thought he was making a reference and telling Jon to go away.
Who the fuck is Annette?
Based Jim
Annette Funicello, one of the original mouseketeers. She was like middle school age when she was on the show and later became a pop singer and was in beach movies and stuff like that.
I have no idea how people convinced themselves Jim Davis isn't hilarious
I ship it.
what did jim mean by this
I always thought it was a misspelling of "Antenna"
He sneezed so loud China heard it
The engrish was a little much though
Early design Orson always catches me off guard for some reason.
