I admit the Simpsons have declined in quality past season 9 but I still watch the new episodes and reruns. I think even the post-movie seasons have good episodes.

I hate Hulk and refuses to read anything Hulk.
I prefer the Spider-man clones like Scarlet Spider (Kaine), Silk (Post-Slott) and Superior Spider-man over Peter.

I never ever want to pick up any big 2 comics because the idea of constant reboot, retcon, and split timelines and characters all getting divergent versions from numerous authors over time is just all so unappealing to me

I really like most if not all of the 2010's cartoons I've watched and think they'll be remembered fondly down the line in spite of their flaws.

SU was only medicore at best very flawed, the best part of watching was as a fandom wondering what will happen next and no one will ever get to experience the feel of old SU quite the same again.

I've been archiving the best of the best for decades as a sort of hobby-slash-purpose. Recently I've noticed patterns and trends that allow me to predict new good things. Unfortunately, these things don't get any support, and shining a spotlight on them would expose honest art to this locust swarm we call a society. There isn't a way to promote them so I sit back and enjoy the pinnacle of art while everyone else squabbles around me. I don't feel guilty about it at all.

I prefer darker shit to lighthearted stuff. That's not to say I don't enjoy lighthearted stuff at all or think dark = good (I hated all but one Netflix capeshow for instance), but give me darker shit any day. It's ironically more comforting for me to see shit worse than my life.

I don't watch cartoons, I just read the wiki and pretend to.

I tried to watch season 4 of Venture Bothers and thought it was trash.
I don’t find any big two comics made after 2000 the least bit appealing.
This is just good sense. This stuff doesn’t start to happen until the mid 80’s though if you ever do have some interest.
