He hasn't made that joke in 12 years.

Why does he insist on the skits and the black guy and woman?

Was he ever good?

He was, but time is not a good guardian.

Why are they filming in their office

They say copyright reasons, but it's because Doug keeps wanting to shit out his directing """"skills"""" even after that To Boldly Flee disaster

J JONAH JAMESON DEFENDING PETER PARKER?!

THIS MOVIE IS STUPID!

Because his Demo Reel was a cringetastic failure but he likes doing that more than Nostalgia Critic so he inserts Demo Reel into his show.

BLACK GUY

Honestly, Batman not having a Bat-Credit Card would be far dumber than not having one. What's he gonna do, purchase suspiciously vigilante-related stuff on WayneTech's funds?

I was watching some of his super early stuff the other day. He really does have some classic stuff.

>You still re-watch my episodes... don't you, user?

BUILD THAT WALL

In small doses.

He hired them for Demo Reel and they were still on contract when he went back to NC so he figured might as well.

Hi Evilina

He's still good when he talks about the stuff he actually enjoys like those nostalgic commercial specials and doesn't just churn out reviews of anything in a desperate attempt to remain relevant

The commercial specials are when he's most in his element of talking about old silly kids media, helps that there are hundreds of them when he may have run out of 80's movies to scream at.

IT LOOKS LIKE VEGAS

I always thought his old Disney movie reviews were good too because he actually has reasoned opinions on them.

Any geuninly good nostalgia critic episodes or are they all shit

I liked her natural look better.

I think the commercial episodes are probably the only episodes I like the rewatch.

I think they're very well suited to the way he formats an episode. You make little jokes and observations, you do a skit, you move on to the next commercial and repeat.

It's the classic 2000s cartoon trio.

>white male protagonist
>black best friend
>girl

When there was barely any content on the internet.

Yes, from the beginning to about 3/4ths of the way to his attempt at retiring from reviewing and failing.

Say what you want about him but his Lorax review was on point

That joke was shit the day it came out and is shit still. Who even laughed at this? Little children and special needs kids? And I'm saying this as someone who was enough of a fan to stomach him all the way to a few months after he replaced girl with fat girl.

His top eleven lists about weird fucking scenes in movies, commericals and more were great stuff. Like all reviewers, he's good when he actually cares about the topic and can write jokes for it instead of chasing modern trends. I still really like that 'top 11 anti-drug adds' or the top 11 'villain songs' sets.

You're kidding, did he actually say that?

BLACK MAN

WOMAN

GET IN COSTUME, I HAVE SEEN AN IRREGULARITY

He’s a fucking moron who couldn’t even understand Event Horizon
