Was this a good plot twist?
Was this a good plot twist?
There wasn't even a good show to begin with.
No. I know they planned it before the series started but it still sucked. I much prefer average kid Steven instead of this royal king of all they all treat him as now too
Yes and it was servicable at worst.
>Average kid Steven
>Amazing Son of the LEGENDARY ROSE QUARTZ
Fool.
At least the Diamonds would froth at the mouths for Rose Quartzes son, they were all ruined because of this twist
It was an expected plot twist.
>Average kid Steven
For that to happen, he would need to be human at all.
She just wanted bigger tits
It would've been a good plot twist if this was a miniseries that was maybe 20 episodes long and revealed at some point maybe around episode 14.
No.
Too obvious and too stupid.
a good plot twist was finding out obama is half white somehow
everyone saw it coming
It was ok in context of the older stuff but terrible for the new stuff. Diamonds only gave him a chance due to nepotism, feels wrong. At least if he talked them down normally it would have been interesing
I was hoping Steven would give them an actual ass whooping in reunited, but no, let’s instead make him pull out a new power out of his ass
Also, that power was NEVER used again
I think it would've made for a far better twist if Rose was just Rose and not an autistic child throwing a temper tantrum.
>Look, Jasper. I appriciate that you're offering me a blowjob but Connie didn't really break up with me.
reminder that a fan nearly died because of skinny rose fanart.
Wait what?
check it
Holy fucking shit
the entirety of the fandom was out for her blood at the time.
I don't even know if you can call it a 'twist', but I sure as hell enjoyed the episode.
I WASN'T
It killed the show since all conflict with Homeworld was solved by telling the Diamonds who Rose Quartz really was.
It sure would have been nice to see a little more of Steven trying to convince the Diamonds of the idea that committing geocide is wrong.
But no, I guess we did not need to see that
>Was this a good plot twist?
Fuck off retard
Remember when a fangirl was almost bullied to death for drawing a thin Rose? Weird, huh?
It was predictable. They spent all of Season 4 and first half of Season 5 making drama because Rose killed PD. I didn't buy it, so i imagined a couple of plot twists that could happen, this being one of the most probable ones.
Good, all SU fans deserve to die in Minecraft
Sorry Becky S E E T H E more
Fuck no it was so stupid I raged for weeks.I always expected Rose to have been coached by Pink Diamond to kill her meaning the civil war was an inside job from the start not this absurd trash.
No, and not because it was obvious, but because immediately after we get the "Pink Diamond was an abusive dead royal brat scapegoat" treatment 24/7, with any good qualities Rose Quartz might've had going out the window.
It was a dumb twist that I didn't want to believe Rebecca would actually pull, which is why I denied it. I got used to it as it opened up a lot of interesting stories and allowed us to get in-depth with the Diamonds, but...
It allowed Steven to save the universe by pure nepotism, which is bullshit. It allowed Steven to become one of the most powerful beings in the universe because of his bloodline, which is shonenshit-tier bullshit
Maybe it's just realistic, but it's depressing. Seeing the same old thing - you get the story of a joe schmoe character who rises up against their oppressors and accomplishes what they do through a combination of charisma and skill, but ACTUALLY, they were the one of the most special people in the universe and unless you have a massive amount of power and privilege, you're basically useless
Also, like with a lot of things in this show, it all doesn't make sense when you look at it closer. For a species that can shapeshift, why aren't situations like this anticipated? Why couldn't their technology sense that her gem was a diamond? Why couldn't Garnet and Amethyst feel the magnitude of gem they were fusing with? It's all such flimsy reasoning
No, is trash
