I personally think that Scorpion was barely relevant enough in that movie on the big scale. The only edge he had on others is having his fatalities shown with proper focus.

I find it funny how good ol Zero was MK lightning for years and years, and then his solo game was so shit they had to find another mary sue and did what they did the best : palette swap.
