That's Chrono Spanner from Ben 10 Omniverse
He's a mysterious fighter that randomly appears and Aids Ben and Rook several times.
Everyone believed that Spanner was Ben's pal Jimmy Jones, since Spanner would miraculously appears any time Jimmy is off-screen.
This was actually pure coincidence as Spanner is actually Ken Tennyson, Ben's son from the future that appeared in the Original Series,using a time travel device after he gets his Omnitrix taken away from him while he still wants to be a hero.
OP's Modified Chrisposting is referring to an episode where Spanner encounters Ben and his Future Mother Kai on a mission, Not wanting to back to the future himself out of existence he tries to put Ben and Kai together, while Ben is still dating his current stretchy Kraaho GF Esther, much to her dismay.
So Ken Gaslights the two into getting together to save his own existence while keeping his own identity a secret, only letting them know that Ben and Kai are married in the future.
Ben never knew that Spanner was actually Ken until Far in the future where Ben is an aged Ben 10K

That was the same episode that talked about alternate universes and diverging timelines. You should've realized that timeline wasn't gonna happen once Azmuth destroyed the Ultimatrix and gave Ben a new Omnitrix.

Because the writers of omniverse had a competition, to see how many retcons they could do in the span of a single series

They then had to bend over backwards just to make it fit with Alien Force by saying that Kevin then got back together with Gwen and she set him straight

I'm currently re-watching the entire franchise, haven't seen the majority of Ultimate Alien or Omniverse though, i am currently at episode 5 of Alien Force and i gotta ask, when does the Keven/Gwen romance start to make sense

That timeline was cancelled out the moment ben stopped wearing the omnitrix after losing feedback, and didn't put it back on until alien force. Ken still exists, somehow.
