You know! the funny thing about this Cal arts vs Newgrounds Style meme, is that there were plenty of shows on both Nick and CN that were gross and ugly as hell, and the feedback was always negative, but now suddenly everybody likes gross and ugly.

Some I liked. Some I didn't. Later on I grew to appreciate 'ugly' art. It was always unique.
It had what all the cool kids call, "soul."

I mean I get you, But sadly I wasn't one of those kids that liked Fanboy and Chum Chum, so i never watched it because it looked gross and ugly from the moment i saw it. but from what I've been told the show is actually pretty good. CN had that secret mountain fort awesome show which I also avoided because of being gross and ugly, but thankfully I did catch some episodes that were definitely funny.
Most of us were kids and teens at that time, and mostly what I wanted to watch was shit like Justice League or Ben 10 or whatever. but to me maybe it's true what they say about kids not having taste.
