Gay frogs vs. gay witches, which is the better show?
Let's settle this once and for all
My mind says Amphibia
But my PP says Owl House
weak anne is superior to owl house bitch both in looks and personality
>looks
No. There's nothing better than Luz's thighs and butt. Don't get me wrong, I like Anne, and she stoled some of my glues, but for me Luz. Anne's personality is good, but I like how autistic is Luz.
Why with all the fighting? Every fighter needs a healer, I propose a team-up.
Amphybia had potential. Owl house fails on slow development and way to fast time running. both are full of shit and fillers.
I started watching Amphibia. Brenda Song has way more fun voicing Anne.
As an isekai, I don't like how Luz can go back to earth anytime
Had potential? It only has 1 season out, season 2 still has potential to make the series truly special.
Which frogs were gay?
all of them, weren't you paying attention??
...
Amphibia has actual progression. Owl House just has 21 minutes of random shit an episode with 1 minute of revelations at the end that are never touched upon again
Why does Owl House seem to have more discussion and generally be favored by both basement dwellers and normies?
because Amphibia ended months ago while Owl House just started
Because Owl House has more waifus. Luz, Eda, Amity.
It didn't end, just a hiatus. Just really long because Disney shit out all of season 1 within a month.
I can understand Luz, but I don't get how the others are remotely fappable.
>Gilf
>Tsundere loli
It's not a mystery user.
the designs are ugly tho
>1 minute of revelations at the end that are never touched upon again
Fucking this.
One still makes me hope it will get better. Other was so boring it made me drop it. My vote is for Owl House
Frogs.
>good release schedule
>high quality show
>excellent aesthetics
Witches:
>shit release schedule
>terribly in consistent quality and it peaks at 'pretty good' which is the lowest quality frog episode
>simplistic dull aesthetic
Owl House has some very good thighs.
Cringe
enjoy your toddler show with frogs faggit
Dumping 39 episodes in a month then leaving the fans hanging for half a year with no confirmation on a return date isn't a good schedule but otherwise I agree.
Only bright side to this is that Amphibia gets to be on Disney+ while Owl cucks are stuck to TV until season 1 ends.
It's a fine release schedule. It released. People enjoyed it. It went away. You can argue that fortnightly or weeks releases add more to the 'discussion' and aide it in creating a lasting impression but NOTHING is worse than a mid-season hiatus.
Owl House is worse but I am even more frustrated with its short comings because it's infrequent.
More overt anime references, so panders to lorefag audience more. A lot of Amphibia episodes are basic sitcom plots that are primarily gag-driven, while TOH always shoehorns some sort of fantastical or worldbuilding element to keep the fanfic audience engaged (while being pretty much the same sort of plots if you disregard the superficial trimmings).
Also less cartoony, more fappable art
>Amphybia had potential
has
>both are full of shit and fillers
yes
I am a lorefag and I will admit the light spell was the first episode I had any affection for.
That said, Amphibia certainly has better lore. To think otherwise is insane. Owl House could tell you anything and you'd be forced to simply say, yeah sure. Amphibia has more consistency in its presentation which gives weight to its revelations.
>Gay frogs vs. gay witches
Anne and Luz are none of those.
But, to answer the question, I'd go with Amphibia just because it's already done one complete season.
Gay Bensons.
Amphibia is very good for what it is, but what it is is definitely a kid-targeted show with non-serious plots 95% of the time and comedy that’s primarily slapstick or situational. It’s rarely all that clever and aesthetically it just doesn’t have the “it” factor that makes a wider audience of older people willing to accept it and take it seriously. That being said, totally competent and fairly charming. The main cast is very ragtag and seem like a strange combo at first but they end up well-defined and work well together.
TOH has way more potential to take up the reigns of SU as being the “cool” periphery audience targeted show with mature themes and darker stories, but the writers are amateurs. The A and B plots never intersect in any meaningful way, resolutions are often rushed, and the characters all have various problems. Luz is cute but mostly bland, Eda is a much less funny Grunkle Stan, and King is completely unfunny and lacking in charm.
Neither show does dialogue or storytelling as well as the top 90% of Gravity Falls episodes
Owl House has a better design for the main character (Anne is a stick figure with a bush for hair) but Amphibia's storytelling is much, much better and more than makes up for this.
