Literally the only reason people like this show is because the MC is black. Nobody ever talks about the show's other boring characters, its terrible art style, or about its nonexistent humor. Don't believe me? Check twitter.

I like the show. Still Craig can sometimes be the weakest character. Craig lives a pretty sheltered life compared to JP and Kelsey.
I've seen more people hate this show solely because the MC is black. Shame because it's a decent watch. Not the best, but it fills a casual niche.

This show is like the new Recess. Except it takes after school in that time when you can play before you have to go home. They have stuff like King's and a store instead of Hustler kid. Groups of kids who exclusively play one thing everyday, and nicknames given to kids that are used more than the real names.
I've seen it compared to KND and Ed Edd n Eddy. But I don't really think so KND is fantasy mixed with kids playing for instance the adult are actually villain and the moon place is a real place not just a make believe set. JP matches Ed from Eddy but Craig and Kelsey are nothing like Eddy and Edd.

I watch it for Kelsey. She's hilarious sometimes.
It's fine. Only about a third of the episodes are actually funny but the rest are serviceable enough as a late 90s Disney Afternoon-type slice-of-life throwback if you just want something to chill out with and feel a bit like a kid watching cartoons after school again.
It's sitcom-y, wholesome, and cute; I understand if that's not your thing but some of us need some low-stakes comfort food entertainment from time-to-time to help from going insane.

I watched it for the first time a few days ago. It was like a worse clarance. And while Clarance was good I dropped it, because it just fails to hold your interest. You watch the episode and it's quaint but you don't come back for more.
