Not really and yes. My parents never took me to the hospital for routine checkups after I fractured my skull and lost consciousness for a day or two at age 11. I also had a habit of slamming the back of my head against cinderblock walls when I was young (and during panic attacks in college) and played football for 2 years (offensive tackle) that may be contributing to early-stage CTE.
I may also have some kind of inherited mental issue like bipolar disorder, but I don't have any diagnosis for that (or the CTE guess, either) b/c I don't have access to my family history (adopted). So basically I'm either a self-destructive suicidal timebomb or a huge Munchausen's fetishist.

If you weren't here to read it in the mid 00's don't even try now, you'll cringe every two pages at shit that was considered normal back in those days.

None of the characters are likeable and anything likeable you might find about them will slowly die out through the series, you'll hate every character by the end of it. The series also goes from zany humor to weird Gossip Girl drama in a couple volumes. Vollume 3 is great and it goes downhill too fast from there, and the first two volumes are nothing to call home about either.

I still don't know why people say this when the movie has every single flaw they point out in their complaints about the comic amped up to 11. The characters are all super unlikeable in the movie, nobody has any chance for much development or to redeem their mean-ass character traits at all, the fucking Zelda Fairy Fountain theme pops up unironically, and Ramona is a huge bitch during the entire movie.
