Everybody mad.
Unsounded
If you're about to ask Duane to kill kids you're gonna have a bad time.
>Duane and the Two Toes are going to FUCK SHIT UP
Plenty of adults to stab, they don't have to tell him about the kids yet. Later, they'll then discover it's a bad idea to try to sneak him into killing kids anyway, I suspect
Crescian kids dont count
>throws a probably over 500 lb tank of water seemingly without effort
How long until we see him beat a nigga to death with zombie strength instead of magic?
So who's screaming in agony here
>Toma being tortured
>Elka being tortured
>Elka and Toma having broken free and laying the smackdown
doggo's reaction makes option three pretty unlikely :(
Duane doesn't work that way.
I had the same thought about him throwing that water trough. That is really heavy and he throws it like it is nothing.
He's tried before
could be bad karaoke
You'd think we'd have seen this coming, but not one of us considered two toes and Duane partnering up to fuck up the Geffies. Surprisingly obvious for how no one thought of it.
It was even built up, too. He's been so nice to Ruffles and he told Nana that story, he was already predisposed to like them. Especially in the midst of all these Crescians who treat them like shit.
>elka / emil torture scene coming up
fuck
>implying he hasn't killed enemy platlings
She's really good at distracting us though and making us focus on the wrong parts. Why even think about the younger two-toes when there's so many interesting things going on in the khert and we're so curious what nana told Duane?
You reckon he'll tell them that he's been canoodling with tittybird? Or would it not be wise to divulge that information at this time?
Depends on what the two-toe lore is on tittybird. If she's the lizard devil then saying you're dating might be a bad idea. But if she's more like their Prometheus or Athena then telling them "I've got one of your gods on my side" could work in his favor.
I bet he'll ask about the banner with Ssael.
I know this question is likely a decade too early to ask but which ending for Duane is best him dying for good, getting a new body, or him stuck in his current body for good.
He sounds the great unsounded. It's really the most appropriate fate for him.
Him and Sette living out their eternal and unaging days together, with Duane having made peace about his past.
>a decade too early
I wish I had your confidence that it would end so soon.
I'd be more concerned about the shadowy figure in the 5th panel. Is that... Anadyne? The dog obviously sees them as a threat.
I fear the author will be killed by a hurricane or eaten by a crocodile before the comic ends
Cope is a fuckin wizard I bet she would just turn a croc into a man and watch it have gay sex
>crocodile
As a Floridian, she'd be eaten by an alligator, not a crocodile. Crocodiles are only in certain parts of the Everglades.
She's might die of old age first if she doesn't take good care of herself. I did some math back in ch14, and at the time (aug 14th) 1,225 pages had been released. Unsounded was first posted 6,970 days previous, and that works out to about a page every 5.7 days when factoring in hiatuses and the m/w/f update schedule.
Ashley said that the first book will be no more than 18 chapters long. Assuming that the average of 88 pages per chapter continued for the entirety of this book, that'd be ~350 pages, not counting the additional pages for chapter 14 that hadn't come out yet.
She also plans to write two other books, and she believes they'll both be shorter, but hasn't said how long. She's considered switching to prose or just black and white, but if we assume she doesn't: At a guess of 15 chapters per book, and 88 pages per chapter, that's another 1,320 pages per book. 2,990 pages total. At 2,990 pages total to go with 5.7 days per page, that's 17,043 days. Or 46 and a half years. It's also not considering that plenty of chapters run way over the 88 page count, and that if anything the first few introductory chapters skew it lower. Last year she celebrated her 39th birthday. At the current rate she will be in her mid eighties when Unsounded finishes.
How is this even a question? His existence is a continuous torture that he endures through sheer force of will. The only place where he still can live fully is Khert, but everybody we saw stuck there (tittybird and Murkoph) are aching to get out. He is basically a ghost, albeit one that can interact with the world around him. And every story about benevolent ghost ends with them going to heaven. There is just nothing for them here.
The fairytale ending would be him getting together with his family (his daughter survived the attack), overcoming his hunger through power of love, getting new body made not out of flesh, but out of first materials, leaving Alderode for a more peaceful country and living there until Leysa passes away (or longer) while locking himself out at night.
goes back in time and finds out he was ssael all along
Wait what why is he mad, THIS time? Is this what normally happens after bird sex?
That's the big Yerta statue that's built into the shrine.
Eh, she's central Florida, she'll be fine. Just gale winds and torrential rains, no surge to worry about.
