>At Convergence 2014 in Minnesota, Greg Weisman held an event called the “Blue Mug,” an after-dark adults-only panel where Weisman answered dirty sex questions about his characters. He used to do this at the old Gathering of the Gargoyles conventions. I took notes.
>The following information is 100% canon.
>Elisa was wet for Goliath the instant she realized he was sentient. Goliath didn’t catch on until The Mirror, when she transformed into a gargoyle.
>Goliath and Elisa do have sex eventually, and have a permanent relationship. Unable to conceive (no cross-species reproduction, unfortunately), they eventually adopt a child. Greg wouldn’t say whether it was a human or gargoyle child though.
>Gargoyle genitals are similar to humans but sized “to scale,” and thus compatible but painful. Human males have to worry about the extremely powerful vaginal muscles that are strong enough to handle large gargoyle eggs. Humans of any gender need to worry about being ripped apart during gargoyle orgasm—they get grabby.
>Gargoyle mating rituals involve “lots of flying” and feats of strength.
>Lexington has sex with Staghart at some point, but it hasn’t happened yet in any of the story that’s been produced. However, as of the SLG comics, they have participated in online gay sex chats.
>The Third Race are all pansexual sluts. Fox, a half-fairy, is bisexual.
>While they were The Pack, Fox had sex with Dingo, but never Wolf. She also fucked Hyena and Jackal in a threesome, but never Jackal alone. While they were in prison together, Fox and Hyena also probably fucked.
>Fox “loves David’s cock,” but they maintain a semi-open relationship. They can fuck whoever they want so long as the other one is there too.
>Greg refuses to reveal what Titania whispered to Fox, because it’s not nearly as clever as he thought it was at the time and everybody will be disappointed.
>Owen would have sex with Xanatos if he asked, but it would never happen because Xanatos would find Owen too boring. Still, Xanatos isn't 100% heterosexual.
>An audience member asked Greg the following: “If Goliath was having sex with Elisa and came at the exact moment the sun rose, would his erupting cum turn to stone and destroy her internal organs?” After a heated debate and an audience vote, the issue was settled by the single tear that lingered on Demona’s cheek. Elisa would be okay.
>At one point in the panel, Greg walked out of the room and returned wearing an eyepatch, assuming his evil alter ego “Edmund Tsabard,” a pseudonym under which he wrote the porn comic “Last Tengu in Paris.” He proceeded to verbally abuse his fellow panelists (implying a dominating sexual relationship) and yell in outrage at any fan who tried to ask questions about Gargoyles. He and one of the artists from “Blue Mug Productions” discussed the possibility of future porn comics appearing on Slipshine. Edmund then stormed out of the panel room and returned sans eyepatch as normal Greg.
>Demona was celibate for the vast majority of her years as an immortal. According to Greg, this “explains a lot.”
>Demona and Thailog had sex, which makes his betrayal all the more painful for her, as she considers herself the type that mates for life. Greg also hinted that he chose Elisa’s DNA to make Delilah because she was the one human that would emotionally hurt Demona the most.
>Tom and Princess Katherine fucked like rabbits during their years on Avalon (a fact that made the Magus extra miserable). However, one or the other was sterile, so they never had children of their own.
>MacBeth and Demona (as Dominique) had lots of sex and he felt genuine love for her prior to her betrayal.
>Artemis lost her virginity at a young age (12-14), but was smart enough to always use condoms.
>Dick Greyson is a perfect gentleman who loves sex. He keeps a strong friendship with his many, many ex-GFs.
>Contrary to a certain song by the Birds of Prey, the Flashes “go and go and go.”
>Megan and Superboy experimented with a number of different superheroines for him to fuck, not just Black Canary.
>In addition to the TV series that Megan watched to learn human interaction from, she also watched a great deal of porn. Occasionally, she would shift into one of the porn stars from these “instructional videos” to amuse Superboy.
>Greg confirmed that all five of the W.I.T.C.H. protagonists were still virgins by the end of season two and confirmed the existence of a lesbian couple in the show. However, I missed the names and I’ve never watched the show. I think he might have been talking about Narissa and Cassidy, but I can’t 100% confirm that.
At 1:00 AM that same night, Greg also hosted a "secret panel" that wasn't advertised on any of the Con materials. He brought several DVDs and watched the following videos:
>A recording of the original pitch that sold the show to Michael Eisner, featuring Elisa "Chavez" and the young trio of gargoyles in their original cute blob forms.
>A video made for Sci-Fi conventions that featured Jonathan Frakes and Merina Sertis in order to promote the show among Star Trek nerds. They're both really awkward and Frakes calls Demona his "sidekick villain."
>A pitch for Gargoyles: The Dark Ages, a prequel series featuring Hudson as leader.
>A pitch for The New Olympians, a series about those futuristic greek god characters from the episode of the same name
>A 5-minute story reel for Bad Guys, a show starring Dingo, the female Hunter, Yamato the gargoyle, Fang the snarky Mutate, and Matrix the nanomachine AI. It features all of the original voices and Greg had to fund the sound mixing final touches out of his own pocket when the project was dumped.
>The 22-minute animatic of "The Last" -- the Gargoyles/Atlantis:The Lost Empire crossover episode that would have kicked off an Atlantis series -- written by Greg and fully voiced by all the original VAs. The Atlantis crew are cleaning up monsters in Paris when they encounter Demona, who tricks them into stealing an artifact to bring all the statue gargoyles in the city to life under her control. While voiced, it was never animated and the missing pieces in the storyboard have been filled in by fans, some great and others deviant-art tier cringeworthy. The whole thing was amazing. >After successfully selling the show, they assembled a promo video (somewhat like a narrated version of the opening) and held a big event with the media.Tons of reporters in a theater. After showing the video, instead of clapping, they were met with dead silence. One reporter raised her hand and asked "Would you really want to have your kids watching this?" None of the production staff or voice actors present had kids in the age range, save for one. They all turned to Bill Fagerbakke (Broadway), who shrugged and said "better than Barney." The audience burst into laughter and Gargoyles always had a warm media presence ever since.
>Right before the show premiered, Disney had a viewing event for the movie version of Awakening--the five-parter opening. The film would be shown in two theaters: one for Disney executives and the media, the other for children bused in from various schools. On the way to the event, Greg was abandoned by his coworkers and left to handle the kids theater on his own. To keep the kids happy, they were given giant tubs of popcorn and cups of soda. As a result, the showing was a disaster as the kids kept getting up to pee and couldn't pay attention. None of them reacted to the comedy or drama the way he hoped. Afterwards, Greg walked towards the other theater, sweating and convinced his career was over, and met one of the Disney higher-ups. "That was fantastic!" the guy says."Everyone laughed at the jokes and gasped when we wanted them to. What a hit! How did yours go." "EXACTLY THE SAME" Greg tells hims, and they go on their way.
>>MacBeth and Demona (as Dominique) had lots of sex and he felt genuine love for her prior to her betrayal. hot
Austin Moore
>MacBeth and Demona (as Dominique) had lots of sex and he felt genuine love for her prior to her betrayal. Then why didn't MacBeth feel all the thrusting Demona was feeling? >Oh, Dominique! Dominiq--Why does it feel like I'm fucking my own ass right now?
Lincoln Green
Unless he was fucking her ass his ass wouldn't feel anything
Anthony Thomas
He's a freak and I love him for it.
Andrew Jones
If we count the next season as a second season how far will he go?
Just realized the entire female side of Artemis' family got with white dudes. With how autistic Weisman is about his shows, there's no way that wasn't unintentional. Greg is a /bleached/ Chad.
Not much but this was posted in the previous thread several years back >Electro is gay >Liz Allan lost her virginity to Flash Thompson >Hammerhead "left" Silvermane's employee because he found out he was messing with his underage daughter. It's also the reason why Hammerhead now has a metal-reinforced skull
Adam Gutierrez
Explain Sally being with Rand and Black Lightning getting with Dr. Jace, then.
Jackson Myers
>Xanatos isn't 100% heterosexual.
You can tell he digs Goliath a little.
Daniel Davis
>>Fox “loves David’s cock,” but they maintain a semi-open relationship. They can fuck whoever they want so long as the other one is there too.
Bullshit
Jonathan Sanders
I want vid of this crossover now
Oliver Murphy
Neither relationship is portrayed as wholly positive. Sally was snobby and boorish and Jace was crazy and a traitor. If anything, Weisman was redpilling black dudes about the nature of the crazy white chicks who would actively pursue them.
>>Hammerhead "left" Silvermane's employee because he found out he was messing with his underage daughter. It's also the reason why Hammerhead now has a metal-reinforced skull
Not any more than most cartoon creators. Dini and Timm are massive perverts as well.
Jackson Adams
Why don't other Yas Forums creators do this? There is going to be porn of what they make so they might as well answer the questions.
Jaxon Brooks
The companies who own the shows wouldn't like it. Hardly anyone cares about these old dead shows of Greg's anymore and their intended audience all aged into adults, so Greg could get away with this.
Liam Rivera
Terrible PR that no amount of damage control could fix.
Carter Torres
What did you expect?
Dylan Parker
>After a heated debate and an audience vote, the issue was settled by the single tear that lingered on Demona’s cheek Shit like this shows who really is a fan of something
