thing about Snufkin is he doesn't give a shit about landowners. he will walk about, pop up a tent in the forest when he needs to, then be moving on his way. Now the problem is that most land that exists is owned by someone, and they probably don't want smelly vagabonds setting up camps over their lands. This doesn't seem as much of a problem for Snufkin as he seems to mostly travel wilderness anyway and Moomin valley is pretty chill on people popping up tents. But in or world we aren't as free as Snufkin and still have to follow the rules of society even if these homeless people are practically not apart of it. They have to instead play by our rules and beg for shit instead of wandering as free men.
