How would you continue Steven Universe?
How would you continue Steven Universe?
They seem to keep giving Steven more battle skills, while simultaneously defusing any potential opportunities to be in a fight. Maybe there needs to be a "real" villain that just can't be talked out of it.
>the show literally ABOUT self-care and emotion, nothing else
>demanding it betray itself and become about combat, destroying all of its mechanisms it has created specifically for the PURPOSE of defusing combat
The origins of the Gem race. Also just go full Gurren Lagann part 2. The only true way to end this series is when we finally get that ultra universe+ sized fusion
The series implies there’s a ton of gems on the loose destroying planets just for fun, TOO BAD THAT WAS ONLY EXPLORED IN ONE EPISODE
Also, aquamarine and eyeball didn’t get killed or redeemed, this series just NEEDS another continuation
Steven Universe: In Space
>How would you continue Steven Universe?
I wouldn’t. The show's over, man. Deal with it.
>How would you continue Steven Universe?
By hiring a real writer and not some storyboarder who is shit at writing.
Have a series about the gems or some gem characters without steven
Just make an animated adaptation of Pug Davis, she truly looks like she wants that.
What’s that image implying?
The Gem War, duh. Preferably as a video game but I'm not picky if we actually got a cohesive plot from season to season.
Steven Universe... GT! Where Steven loses his powers, becomes an infant and has to travel all the way over to space with Bismuth and a brand new gem, the villain will be none other than Rose Quartz who threatens to destroy the universe
Nigga what are you talking about, the show started out as an adventure time-tier adventure series, complete with RPG video game adaption.
Keikaku Doori
The gang encounter the equivalent of The Reapers
Have them accidentally get zapped to Cybertron and have to deal with not being able to talk-no-jutsu their way out of fighting Decepticons
human mortality
I mean, why is Rose there?
>how would you continue steven universe
I wouldn't
Steven and Connie having a mutt child who inherits his gem, then just copy Boruto
the Steven part "died", so his gem reverted to the Rose form
Lars of the Stars spinoff, while exploring planets they discover yellow/green zircon is a corrupt politician and crash the election.
Pretty sure Steven’s cum can give powers to his offspring without killing himself
Steven's journey, or doing episodes reflecting on Steven's journey when he settles dowm somewhere when he finds his place in life, or maybe if he comes back Delmarva. The show left us on that note, on this cliffhanger, where just about anything could happen.
Naturally this journey could put Steven in a position to meet more gems, more people of all kinds, start a new life, and even revisit past experiences at times, tying up any loose ends of the show people might have left.
I could see Steven traveling around the US of A, maybe even the world. I could see Steven even going to someplace isolated, like Alaska. There's so much potential for Steven to grow as a person, even moreso than he has in the show. That'd be cool, just imagine if there were like a mysterious group of gems deep in the country or maybe housed in the glaciers, or deep in the Tundra. It could start a brand new story. I'd love for them to go into a story involving the origins of the diamonds. That would be cool.
I wouldn't
>Maybe there needs to be a "real" villain that just can't be talked out of it.
Absolutist villian PLEASE.
God just imagine if Rose did that PLEASE
But she's gone. Crew have stated that if Steven dies the gem dies with him
Me and a pal of mine have been thinking up a character that serves such a purpose. He's essentially a part-human Nazi that wants to eradicate all Gem life from the planet through a big bad superweapon that would only harm Gem life. The main reason for his strong grip on his questionable values is partially because he's human, and so he's not as emotionally-swayed compared to the other villains, who were all exclusively Gems that seemingly did most of their wrongdoings due to a lack of basic moral understanding. He kinda serves as the "anti-Steven", of where he'd use his influence and psychological understanding of others for turning their morality around to his cause.
He's a noticeably angry character, but he tries to hide such feelings to feign a confident demeanor. He lacks native powers beyond that of an average human, and so he needs to rely on a specially-designed suit before he can even consider fighting someone as ridiculously overpowered as Steven. I don't think this idea would be ideal to introduce as a canonical continuation, but it's something I suppose.
>show is faggy now so it can't become unfaggy in the future
Only if it’s attached to his belly, pretty sure if you separate the gem from his body before he dies the gem won’t die, because Steven was clearly dying in CYM, but the gem didn’t seem to be affected by that
