I haven’t seen a lot of his videos, but in his Rock and Rule one, he seemed like when he started watching it he was temporarily really fucking excited that it took place in a setting full of anthros, and then turned around and complained about how he liked it a lot less as soon as he realized they weren’t gonna actually do anything with the characters being anthros and they were basically just people with weird faces. Like it sounded like he wanted the characters to bark once in a while or something and was disappointed they didn’t. He didn’t even need to talk about being a furry in that video but it was still pretty obvious, and for a second there it came dangerously close to fucking with his actual opinion of the movie.

if you like a few anthro characters/shows, that doesn't automatically make you a furry.

at this point the easiest way to separate the two would be to say that it's a fandom. if you're involved in the star trek fandom, you're a trekkie. if you're involved in the furry fandom, you're a furry. if you just happen to enjoy the subject matter, you're just a star trek fan or an anthro fan.
