We discussed this while reading L.E.G.I.O.N. Asshole characters like this are much more palatable when the work makes no attempt to apologize or downplay their shittiness. Prowl's a pain in the ass, but that's the drama, and it seems like the writer is going somewhere with it. Optimus seriously needs to just take Prowl aside and punish him like the bad, bad cop he is.
