How come Yas Forums never talks about this show? I thought it was kino.

do black people like it?
We don't talk about it because you're wrong and it wasn't kino.
I can attest that some black guy that I knew growing up liked it.
Because they’re too young to remember it
Also, it was kind of a flop.
The opening was good.
I liked Smokey and Sanchez
I liked when the old lady said "I'll blow your straight to Jesus."
Now I'm an adult I can laugh and appreciate the writing. Fuse was running reruns of this show a few years ago. It really is a funny show.
It totally has its moments.
Voice acting was great, especially Eddie, stories were old sitcom variations, the rhythm and speed made it work.l enjoyed it all.

This show literally couldnt be made today. Even for the sake of comedy or by another minority creator.
Its full of obvious and confirmed ghetto stereotypes and his portrayal of the slumlord makes blacks look bad.
My favorite parts were the housing authority scenes, because its not a stretch to assume that wasnt based on real life experience.
Its a hidden jem for us now.
I enjoyed this show when it came out and still do today.
>Its full of obvious
I hate Eddie Murphy and the show looks ugly as hell.
i liked it. also watched the bernie mac show too. i'm not even black.
People in the ghetto didn't like it.
It shot too close to home.
Everyone in my household quoted it at each other for a bit
is this the one fox show [as] never tried to get
I used to watch it when it first ran, I liked it.
No AS aired it at a point but stopped I suppose the same reason as Fox.
Fun fact: this was made by the studio that would eventually become LAIKA.
Most people I went to school with never heard of it. But Boondocks was talked about a lot and quoted.
PJs was like 6 years before Boondocks
now im imaging an [as] black history month
>pjs
>boondocks
>cleveland show
>jellies
>lazorwulf
Yeah, I miss PJs, and fuck anybody who said it was "Racist". If it was racist in any way, it was racist towards WHITES.
Eddie Murphy said this was based on the neighborhood he lived in and the people in that neighborhood when he was growing up, and even George Clinton did the opening theme song.
Spike Lee can go fuck himself.
i just wiki'ed eddie murphy
dude has 10 kids
that is nuts
this shit was funny, i was just re-watching it a few days ago
Despite Spike Lee making a lot of kino, he's a walking example of "black people don't want other black people to have anything". He recently tried to claim that A Different World ripped off School Daze.
>When Urien's Metallic spheres phase through Abigail's upper body without damaging him.
I still re-watch it from time to time. I think it's pretty funny, and the jokes are more hilarious now that I'm older.
