Like, I get that they wanted to trim the cast and had no use for depowered mutants, but was fucking blowing most of them up really necessary? Couldn't they just be left to move on and live normal lives? And to top it all off they then killed off Icarus and Wall-Flower too for no reason.
I'm glad that with Hickman they can reverse all this shit.
ITT: Mean-spirited pointless deaths
I will never be over this and I hope Dennis Hopeless gets raped to death by a dolphin.
That's why i havent read Marvel in a long time.
>so we burn her to death while pregnant, could there be anything worse?
>how about we retroactively have her raped?
I think that Tag is the only bus kid that has been brought back so far. Icarus is back, but Wall-Flower still isn't confirmed resurrected. I wonder how long before Wind Dancer goes through the crucible.
Such a garbage, emotionally manipulative storyline.
Ares deserved better. And he has never really been as good as he was during this time.
Has any character in comics had it worse than Roy?
And for what? So that Roy Harper could become diet Red Hood?
Though I will say his and Jason's friendship is one of my favorite things about them. Fucking shame they killed Roy again, because I'd really like to see him stick around with Jason, Artemis and Bizzaro.
>Giffen did this literally because he hated Byrne's toys and wanted to symbolically destroy that run.
I mean, harsh, but can't blame him.
Roy's character has been ruined after the New 52. Instead of a former Titan/turned JL member, a respected vigilante and responsible father, he's now a fucking joke manchild and a side-kick to Jason Todd of all people.
Lobdell was the worst thing to ever happen to Roy, even more than Gay for Justice.
His friendship with Jason only works because Roy is basically a new, shittier character now with none of his previous history.
Yeah, Byrne has done plenty of petty potshots at other creators himself. Like that time he killed off Shooter's creation Starbrand by having him blow up and destroy Shooter's hometown of Pittsburgh.
Convergence D-balled it so Roy never talks to dead cat.
O MY BIG GUN
Fuck Bendis
>was fucking blowing most of them up really necessary?
Yes.
Keep in mind, Bendis had already tried to kill off Scott Lang in Alias by having his own ants eat him alive, but the Avengers' editors wouldn't let him.
I liked how that Convergence event did some updates and retcons to fix this and bring his daughter back. Gives some kind of peace of mind.
Why does Roy Harper suffer so?
I know, Bendis hateboner for Scott Lang makes it worse
Based Lex
To be fair, she was from the villains group.
I remember going, damn this is fucked up back when it came out.
His momma put it best. I mean goddamn Hank, he was your friend and you couldn't shrink him down?
Hank wasn't on the planet at the moment. But you'd think Skrull Hank could have pulled it off. And you know Stark could have afforded a big enough coffin!
Hank was replaced with a Skrull at the time.
And Tony doesn't deserve anything that would lessen his failure
the fuck is actually happening on this page?
Seriously, what the fuck was King's deal in this arc
>Tom King turns the black guy into a slobering retard
Wow King getting a bit Raimipilled there
Same, it's incredibly morbid.
