I was livid when I heard about all the episodes that were cut because they didn't have Li in them. It's how I discovered Kazaa.

Saturday and cartoon blocks on Saturday were special specifically because everything you were seeing was new unless it was an ancient cartoon like Yogi Bear (which I remember Fox and CBS airing at like 6 in the morning for boomers).

Actually 11 episodes aired. They stopped just before the whole Allen's bastard son arc. I guess Fox Kids really didn't want to deal with that.

You're trying to parade the system like it was good but you're just illustrating its flaws. Having the weekend be "special" only states that the rest of the week sucked and meant that you were constantly stuck watching re-runs.

The rest of the week sucked because I had to go to school all of the time, not because of the re-runs.
On the contrary, the re-runs were my favorite part of the day. It's what I looked forward to every day after school. I would have been pissed if they aired new stuff during the weekdays when I was worrying about homework or wasn't even home on time to catch it. That would have been the ultimate 'fuck you' to me.
