Both, really. I miss Stile Project. If meme culture weren't as prevalent, this site as a whole would be a lot better. As it is, this place is pretty gay.

None of my friends really like comics so it's basically just this or various comic book subreddits. And I prefer Yas Forums to Reddit since it's anonymous and I feel like I can express my opinions more freely.

What exactly made this other Yas Forums better?

It’s the only place where freely talking about comics exists without regulation, even if half of the people on here are stupid as shit and don’t actually read comics.

When Yas Forums isnt busy being an anti-sjw circle jerk some interesting discussions and recos happen. Threads that talk about interesting subject matter are few and far between but worth hanging around. Just dont take thing to seriously and shitpost while you wait for good stuff

Been here since 2007. I used to want to fit in so badly. Now I just come here to fuck with the tumblr expats with stonetoss threads.
The drawfags were horrible people too, I met several IRL.

I don't really read comics any more and the newest cartoon I've watched was Voltron and I gave up on that shortly after they found Shiro and made the red guy leader.

No alternative. Even the new Dubzchan is not an alternative; most of the boards I'd use are gone and the ones that are left are real slow. It's almost as bad as old 7chan except that site feels even deader.

And I have no interest in going to Reddit where everyone has a username and "karma." That's a dumb format that only promotes flamewars and vendettas.

You could call someone any mean name in the book as long as you're not obviously trolling or shitposting. With a little effort, you could talk about anything cartoon or comic related.

The irony is that just as many people say that Yas Forumsshit is what's ruining the board. But that schism proves that a rift has made this board unenjoyable to a vast majority of its users.

The Yas Forums shit is a reaction to the sjw shit thats destorying everyones hobbies. There's a reason moderates are becoming more right leaning.

This place has always been a shithole. Sometimes people have some nice threads like indie comics that I really like or upcoming cartoons that I might not have noticed beforehand. But those threads are few and far in between. It is kind of nice that in a forum where you can express whatever you want, most people are here to discuss actual content that they genuinely enjoy.

Those people are outright stupid: It's always been trolling, they've always reacted so they'll always see it because they could never, for a minute, keep themselves from advertising what will make them react. They never even tried.

I like Yas Forums most of the time, but it's probably the most off-topic board I use bar Yas Forums, and at least the bantz there is great when you're not dealing with the pedos. Comics and cartoons aren't discussed here often; it's either aggressive contrarianism or meta-politics surrounding said comics and cartoons. It's usually better to ask a question or suggest a theory in an already created thread than start your own, since unless it's Marvel or DC you can bet most people here aren't reading it

Possibly, I haven't looked, I'm more here to confirm my every warning was right as those who folded their arms and shook their heads in denial eventually fled as the reality of their negligence sunk in.

I have a lot of misgivings with Yas Forums, but on gatekeeping they were undeniably right.

It is easier to find news here. Any comic or cartoon event news gets posted here instantly. I am too lazy to browse other sites.
