It's a shame because I really liked her before. She was a cute, energetic character, but she just became so fucking selfish and incapable of think about how her actions have consequences.

Rushed ending. They also didn't want to kill anyone "good" in the series, so even magic puppies are alive but not magical anymore which makes no goddamn sense.

There comes times when some things are just so out of place, when later seasons or installments just drop the ball some fans consider it non-canon because sometimes even the original authors can lose sight of what their creation is supposed to be.

Season 4 wasn't even that bad but just rushed too much out there at the end and hamfisted a villain. If shit didn't happen at lightspeed in the last six episodes and they built it up a little more it could be fixed. Also Doop-doop was pretty based.
Destroying magic was the combination of both Anti-intellectualism and Genocide apologism, destroying a tool just because some jerks want it is wrong, Star vs magic is no more destrictive than nuclear power or medicine(both can be used to destroy manking overnight) but is way better.

It wasn't the show that ruined Star, it was the entire two seasons leading up to it. You can take the finale out and the show's second half would still be rancid garbage.

The fourth season was terrible. So much filler, so much time wasted on a terrible love triangle, that fucking Kellco arc that justed time, Jackie's return as a Starco/LGBT mouthpiece, all of this and not even touching upon the genocide. It was an awful season.
