What happened with this show? Its animation studio died, CN washed its hands of it after giving it to netflix, netflix dropped it all and never mentioned it again, then its creator turned out to be a pedo.

Well, if it's any consolation, it's not stated to be cancelled, so there's a sliver of hope it may come back. All we can do is try and support it. Pardon my shilling, but please try to spread the word and go buy something from the e-shop. Anything helps. Even if it turns out this is a one season show, that's still pretty good, more so given its amount of episodes. It could have gone way worse.
