While I like that Hickman has made him the central character of the flagship title it feels a little weird that this is the same Hickman that wrote Scott in Secret Wars and the take charge type and now he is just a field commander and unquestioning soldier for Xavier. Hickman wrote a good Rightclops but now he’s just back to being traditional Cyclops.

When Charles and Mags went to Sinister and made the deal for the clones/Charles mind erasing and implanting Sinister with the “idea”. Logan is wearing brown because everyone for years wanted that costume back. It won by a wide margin during Rosenberg’s run when he had polls to decide which costumes he would use. I think Marvel just stuck with that one because it pleased the fans and Logan had recently been brought back to life.

I think the clothing is very symbolic and important, and I agree with everything you’re saying, Scott is Blue Rightclops, Jean is Marvel Girl (when was the last time we saw her like that?). I still hold my thoughts about the clothing being specific, Especially the White Mags and Maker-esque Charles.
