I felt like they could've done basically every emotional beat in this story better, which is a shame because the first Trolls had the whole "two different people learn from each other." thing down really well.
That said, Barb is a great anti-Poppy.

Watched this yesterday.
It's an odd feel, because the world and character designs are phenomenal, the music is okay, but I just can't get over or ignore the blatant underlying politics of the moral it's teaching to kids using music as a vector.
I'm not gonna go full Yas Forums here because it's still a fun movie and I love poppy, but man did that last 5 minutes of diversity pandering really sour the whole thing for me for a while.
