Lola Bunny

They wrote her a fun personality, and later gave her some of her old proportions back. Best of both worlds.

Season 1 Lola could sometimes get real annoying for many reasons. This was one of them.

...I think I figured it out. Lola says Bugs is an "ugly" woman. He looks fine to us. Check it out, though: perhaps prominent whiskers are a blatantly masculine thing, and to rabbits, make a female look terrible.

Her character goes beyond just being "the hot woman."

Why does she still look like that, when then comics managed to keep all the hotness from and still inject it with that Looney Tunes zaniness that she was lacking in Space Jam?

Who knew that the way to actually look like a Looney Tunes character was for her to stop doing her Jessica Rabbit impression through out the entirety of Space Jam.

I mean, the artstyle for everyone changed in The Looney Tunes Show, Lola was no exception. Comic Lola works well enough for a more classical Looney Tunes setting, but while that Lola was quipy and more expressive than the Space Jam one, she was still pretty calm and collected a lot of the time in the same way Bugs was. And with the new show already calming Bugs down more, if they didn't up the zany on Lola, their dynamic would've probably been boring.

So I'm guessing Yas Forums didn't threw a temper tantrum over this? Because it's the same logic as when other shows get rebooted and "tumblrized".

Most I've seen seem to like TLTS Lola once people came around to all the other changes that had made to everything else as well. It helps that Space Jam didn't really have anything going for her except her being hot. And even the new show gave her moments where she was, so it was a mix of that and the new personality that has people mixed.

key difference is that the writing was pretty funny, the VA was downright amazing and the new design isn't bad to look at
