Iron Man got the worst looking rogue gallery, their designs are fucking trash

To be fair their personalities are even worse.

Every singe fucking one is “guy in a mech suit”. It’s amazing how trash the whole group is. Shit do any of his Rogues even have a good story to their name?

t. zoomers

Terrible names as well

The problem is not Tony's rogues themselves, it's that writers never want to fucking do anything with them.
You can tell plenty of stories with Iron Man, especially since his villains are representative of certain ideologies or political views. Melter, Firebrand and Ghost want to smash the establishment while simultaneously getting all their shit from the establishment. Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo are Arms Race allegories, but Armored Adventures proves that it doesn't take much to update them to be better.
Hell, Armored Adventures in general made Iron Man's rogues fucking cool.

Armored Adventures was good. its was basically ''what if iron man was this universe spiderman?'' and executed it flawlessly. Rodes and Peper had actual personalities separated from tony stark

Living Laser looks great

Man, the inks do not respect the draw distance
what an amateur job

I'm fairly certain that everyone was drawn separately then composited together. Mauler and Firepower don't appear to have legs and Firebrand appears to be hovering a few inches in front of the stairs (which themselves don't appear in proportion to the room). The lighting doesn't really work either.

I liked a lot of that show's revamps. Mandarin, MODOK, Living Laser, Madame Masque, Omnivore, etc. I think the only ones that didn't work out for me were Killer Shrike and Unicorn. I know they were supposed to be loser villains in the context of the series, but they still looked too tech'd up for me. Also, Ghost. Not because he looks bad in the series, but because he already has some good designs.

That show also gave us the Rescue design that Endgame adapted and now is going to the comics via synergy.

*Technovore

Living Laser is baller and the Mandarin (OG comics yellow peril version) kicks ass, but yeah, other than that they all suck dick as far as I know.

Killer Shrike and Unicorn are at least serviceable. Their comic designs are pretty terrible.

I liked that in season 2 those two and Whiplash got upgrades so that they could keep up with Iron Man and War Machine

Iron Man has actually pretty good villains in theory; it's just that nobody cares enough.

Mandarin did. Before they nerfed him for being UN PC

At least Ghost is cool

I like Living Laser, he looks cool.

>He picks nothing but redesigns
>This meme again

Can we ban anons who haven’t actually read the classic Iron Man run from talking about it? Go back to your white boring Mandarin.

AA's designs are top fucking tier.

When it comes to villains, Tony's basically Batman but with writers who don't want to put in any effort.

>tie him more with SHIELD and all the relative characters again
>give his enemies and stories an MGS redesign
>tie him more with the X-Men for a Mutant vs Mutate/Transhuman conflict
>devote time to actual boardroom politics
There, I fixed Iron Man.

Tony Stark is one of those characters who are fun at crossovers like Agengers and events but awful at their own comics, their rogue gallery and side characters are all pretty bad. The guy also got nearly no good runs.

Technovore is sexy as hell

God we need Yost on another Marvel cartoon, stat

That's why the best Iron Man villains are Ultron and Doctor Doom

t. Bendis

And Captain America.

Yeah I love him.

Holy shit was bad taste. His run was great for decades you fucking casual.

So he's basically DC Flash.

flash also has some great comics fucker

>Iron Man and Flash
>Good comics
A billion years ago

>It’s old so it doesn’t count
I’ve never used the phrase before, but there is no other word to describe you better than “zoomer.”

>talking shit bout my nigga Blizzard.
best quit that attitude, mister.

Inhuman scum

>t. Krakoan Internet Defence Force

Ghost is cool. And I'd say that Whiplash is cool. Other than that, you'd be right.

Is this post satirical?

Yeah, fucking retarded TRON Clones.

Is Vibro drawn badly there, or is a deformed face part of his character?

Iron Man cartoons > movies > comics

This

Why haven't any modern writers touched into Iron Man as a modern King Arthur story again?

>Can we ban anons who haven’t actually read the classic
Why do you want this board to die?

Wait a minute, Whirlwind is an Ant-Man villain.

Wasp villain, Stalker even.

>Flash
>good comics
Literally what.

Is Firebrand a giant?

Blame modern era. A lot of them used to look good. At least I remember ghost, living laser, and crimson dynamo being neat.

because his greatest enemy was always being wasted

Ghost got a great introduction.

Attached: A0.jpg (988x1500, 514.35K)

He's too busy writing for the Cowboy Bebop remake on Netflix.

Did you see his original plans for season two of EMH?

>Iron Man got the worst looking rogue gallery, their designs are fucking trash
Almost all of those are awful redesigns from that one story.

Part of his character

...Why would it be satire?

>Iron Man got the worst looking rogue gallery, their designs are fucking trash
Although I know this is a troll thread Mandarin, Doom, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo and Ghost all have great designs. Although I will admit IM does have some retarded rogues designs in need of a makeover. His villains aren’t bad, just a lot have not the best costumes.

>Every singe fucking one is “guy in a mech suit”.
You realize that’s the whole point of the “Armor Wars” arc right?

>The problem is not Tony's rogues themselves, it's that writers never want to fucking do anything with them.
>You can tell plenty of stories with Iron Man, especially since his villains are representative of certain ideologies or political views. >Hell, Armored Adventures in general made Iron Man's rogues fucking cool.
Great post and these designs are always cool, it’s a shame we never got this synergy in the comics.

These are the only good Iron Man villains
>Mandarin
>Crimson Dynamo
>Blizzard
>Technovore
>Madame Masque
>Living Laser
That's about all you can salvage. Another problem is that Tony is often his own worst enemy

Attached: Crimson Dynamo ENH.png (425x604, 154.94K)

>Also, Ghost. Not because he looks bad in the series, but because he already has some good designs.
Based although I don’t 100% hate the redesigns for him the classic was the best. Bought all the Ghost issues from my LCS before corona.

Ghost is one of the most based and underrated characters in Marvel.

They really are.

Fuck, I forgot Ghost. Sorry

>Tony Stark is one of those characters who are fun at crossovers like Agengers and events but awful at their own comics, their rogue gallery and side characters are all pretty bad. The guy also got nearly no good runs.
We get it, you don’t read comics.

>That's why the best Iron Man villains are Ultron and Doctor Doom
And Ghost, and Mandarin, and FFF, and....
