I just got done watching S1 of Amphibia. Pretty fun and I dig the writing a lot. I'm looking forward to S2 this coming summer. To those of you that have watched it, what did you think of it?

Well, not in the off season. Talkbacks are where the lorefags are. There was that tribe shit awhile back but everybody's show came out and it died down.

Amphibia is Disney's best cartoon post-Gravity Falls era, and it shows how important it is to have a concise character story plotted out rather than just working off a premise (looking at you, Owl House).

I like it too and I'm not exactly sure why. If someone told me it was boring and babyish I couldn't really argue with them. But something about it is really likeable. I like most the characters and definitely don't hate any. I will say the world is really cool. It has kind of like a toned down dark fantasy vibe.

Besides, characters like Wally, Hop Pop, and Grime are also popular.
The show in general is pretty good. The cute girls are just a bonus
