Yes.

RIP big man. Is Al the only old guard left now?

I thought he died a long time ago.
Anyways, F.

At least he outlived MAD

>Is Al the only old guard left now?

Yes, as far as 50's era MAD goes.

F

Oh God maybe he shouldn't be

91, that is a fuckin' good run. This is even better. RIP Mort and thanks for the laughs. Mad helped make my teenage years just a little bit better

HE CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS!

Such a life lived.
F

Just devastating

Sergio, Dick DeBartolo, and Frank Jacobs are all still kicking as well

>Named "Death"
>Dies
Screw that guy's parents. F man, hopefully your next run is just as great.

Mort is "dead" not "death" which is even worse, what were they thinking?

Are there ANY original illustrators left alive?

Mods better sticky this shit. Dude was massively influential to several artists, including Jamie Hewlett of Gorillaz

Personally I never found his parodies *too* funny, but the amazing drawings kept me captivated

Rest in piece
91 isn't a bad year to go out

>Dude was massively influential to several artists
Like Monkey Punch, which just reminded me he died only late last year. Fuck this shit.

An astounding talent with a vast body of work to show for it.

F

Rest in peace. F.

I remember that on Gilbert Gottfried's podcast, he and his co-host interviewed Al Jaffee and Dick DeBartolo, and Jaffee commented that Drucker wasn't doing so well. The interview was back in 2016.

J Scott Campbell cites Drucker as his main influence and it's easy to see why

Ah fuck.

Neal Adams also cited Drucker as an influence.

Interesting, makes total sense in retrospect

Fellow MADman Tom Richmond remembers Mort.

That's stinks but hey long life
F to one of the more hilarious MAD artists

Noooo

Found the interview but I don't remember where they brought up Drucker yet:

Well that sucks. Whenever I thought of MAD (or even caricatures for that matter) his style is the first thing that came to mind.

Adams did a parody of the 70's show McCloud, in a Drucker-like style in Crazy Magazine #2.
