Marv Wolfman wrote New Teen Titans, the version that cemented the public view of Teen Titans, and Crisis on Infinite Earths, as well as other stuff.
Pretty good writer, or he used to be at least, last thing I read was some Raven miniseries that was mediocre at best.
But in New Teen Titans, he wrote Donna Troy in a relationship with Terry Long, one of her college professors, and getting married and having a kid with him.
Wolfman has gone on record saying that Terry Long is a self insert stating something like "I'm the only one that can marry Donna Troy".

To be honest, the rumors I always heard were that his employees made the character him just to mock him, which rings very true to workplace/office dynamics. The boss or supervisor is always fair game and this kind of thing is rampant. It doesn't mean much outside of normal workplace politics good or bad. It's a bonding thing to elaborately make fun of your supervisor.

All this guy did was luck out he was in the party of the guy who told CN they could make infinite money with a new PowerPuff show. He then used his hacky lazy writting that got greenlit by the same idiots who would greenlight anything, including the hacky lazy animation.
