that was ages ago but iirc after not being able to sement an actual theme and story for the project he kinda gave up on it? My guess is that after spending so much time on partial chara design, he realized a comic page is a job on itself and that wasn't worth the upcoming years of work it would have taken. That or real life kicked in, and he just keep the character in his port folio for a pitch one day.

I couldn't find a Donut Steel thread, but anyone have any suggestions for how to design a robot girl's head so that most of it is completely rigid plastic/metal but with a mouth that's still flesh-like without it looking weird?
