I mean, I can imagine that in between the frames she made another step forward and changed hands as a result, but the scene plays out as if they barely missed Claggart with friends. Sometimes artists just fuck up. Makes them feel real bad too.

In this case, what seems to have happened in the second panel there as Duane extending his right hand because it helps keep him the focus of the panel as it turns his front to the viewer. It's natural to then draw Gold Waifu with her right hand extended. But then in the third panel we want a clear shot of both him and Gold Waifu being merry, so now she's facing forward toward the viewer too, so her left hand should be extended.

Anyway, Alderode now has Gold and Silver waifu. Cresce needs to step their game up. Best Whore can't carry this all on her own.

Oh also if they're going to be skating hand in hand, they need to holding the opposite hands from each other, so that probably factored in too. The real problem is it looks weird to extend the opposite hand when just reaching out to someone standing up, so that's probably what tripped it up, page design-wise.

There are also a few seconds of action in between that we are not witnessed to.

My claggometer is coming in at about 2 claggs for this page. That’s one more than last page, but before that we had three. Overall quite acceptable but I’m optimistic for Friday, Claggs in a good position to score another triple.
When illganyag appears naturally she will gravitate towards the Clagg and go skating with him instead of Duane, so it should be interesting to see how Claggart reacts to monster girl romance. If there are any silvers in the vicinity it won’t be easy for lady I but she has her chances, she is pretty tall after all

I don't see why he couldn't do just that. Hell, for all we know he took the "shape" aspect, or just a bundle of coordinates, from another skate, and use the solidity of the rock in that shape.

And then the Khert will poo poo out just as they're doing some romantic skating move, flinging the girl into a hound-shit cart and causing Duane to break through the ice and sink.

Obviously Ilganyag has altered the memory to make it seem as though Duane successfully pulled Meatball Girl onto the ice.
The reality is that Claggart crashed into both of them as they were about to grab each other's hands.
