Are there scenes as emotionally or even more emotional than pic related?
The most emotional scene there is

cowboy bebop did it first
You're thinking of the steven universe ep with Rose's tape, I don't think I Remember You was ripping off anything in particular
Let's see, that bit at the end of Holly Jolly Secrets Part 2, all of I Remember You, a few scenes in What Was Missing, a couple moments in Simon and Marcy, a couple moments in Breezy, a few times in Stakes and Islands, and Finn's song in Love Games.
based. Yas Forums will bitch and moan about this to kingdom come but apart from breezy this is correct
this is regular show right? never watched it because i always thought every episode would stand for its one, no lore. was I wrong?
Oh yes, Feye's tape and memory loss. Great Mentioning!
SU has lots of great emo moments for sure. this is one of it youre right. maybe inspired by cowboy bebop, kinda like an Hommage maybe
all valid tear jerking moments. wonderful!
shame on me, i don't know this show. what is it and what is it about?
Have you seen Why, Charlie Brown, Why?
Forgot the ending of Crossover, when Finn gets to see his Farmworld counterpart reunite with his family. Mute Jake's last sentence if you want

AT truly raised the bar for good emotional payoff yes
I have never watched Charly Brown, only read the comics as a kid. Is it good emo Kino?
>breezy
no, everything else is correct though
Give it a watch its a good show
I watched like the first 6 episodes when the first season was new. It didn't catch my interest then, but things have changed i suppose. Does it keep the disconnected nature for long?
I'm not a creepy adult woman who's suffering from penny pan syndrome and daddy issues.
I can think of a ton, here's some that just immediately pop into my head;
>Pigeon man episode of Hey Arnold
>The Hey Arnold Christmas special
>That Hey Arnold episode where he imagines flying a plane like his parents did
>Bart turning into a sobbing mess over getting an F
>Homer looking up to the stars after his mother leaves
>The Futurama episode with his dog
>The Futurama episode with his brother
>Heart of Ice from Batman: TAS
>"Epilogue" from Justice League Unlimited, AKA the episode with the girl that's terminally ill
>Iroh singing "Brave Young Soldier Boy"
>That Peanuts movie with the girl that gets cancer
>The Courage the Cowardly Dog episode with the space squids
>The Kids Next Door finale where they huddle together and promise that they'll always be kids at heart no matter what
Watch some more cartoons man
>Does it keep the disconnected nature for long?
In a way, yeah, but it becomes less of the focus in the later seasons
>Batman: TAS
Shit, I can instantly think of maybe a dozen such moments now that you mention it. Might be just me, but the clayface episode where you see all his old roles hit me hard.
Fuck, what happened to cartoons? They used to have so much soul
Pigeon man episode of Hey Arnold
>totally forgot about that one, yes!
The Futurama episode with his dog
The Futurama episode with his brother
>Oof right in the feels. Those were so good.
Yeah the Episode with Homers Mom was bumming too. I have to admit i haven't watched any of your other mentionings, wrote them all down tho, thanks
that's what i was wondering
I hear this quite often. I'm not much of an action fan, so I never put up with Batman. But it's recommended quite a lot
Eh, the tape scene was overrated. Even SU's homage/ripoff was better and I don't even like too much of that show
Now the Green Bird scene, THAT is fantastic
you can try Bojack too, but you have to give it 6-8 episodes or so
green bird?
Marceline x Ice King is best ship prove me wrong
When Spike gets shot out of the church window
A valid reason, but there are some amazing scenes.

For me there's no competition to this one. I haven't been hit in the gut so hard by a cartoon that I can remember.
It started off like that then got pretentious and starting having lore and backstory when it didn't need it like many other shows.
yay good show, definitivly walks in the footprints of AT and SU (which is good!)
This was the other scene that just slayed me....
I will say these are also some great example here
That's not Finn x Betty
>Pigeon man episode of Hey Arnold
That wasn't emotional.
That was fucking stupid and a clear suicide is a-okay if you get your feefees hurt/escapism is greet sign.
I disliked it when I first saw it and I couldn't put my finger on why.
How come I can't find any threads talking about the new HBO show? I keep getting bombarded with ads about the adventure time HBO show and I come to Yas Forums and no one is talking about it.
It says its gonna be a mini series but I want to know if its gonna be more adult or why it's on HBO
The creator of the show actually de-confirmed the idea that it was about suicide, the message was just that some people don't fit in and that it's ok.
We just had a big thread like two days ago when they did a livestream and showed the teaser.
Okay cool but that doesnt help me in the least. Can you fill me in or is that the extent of your knowledge
About the miniseries? Nothing about it has really been revealed iirc
God damn it
He took his fucking pidgeons and flew off of the edge of a fucking building.
It's a SUICIDE IS COOL KIDS/RUN AWAY INTO FUCKING FANTASY thing.
He either didn't fucking realize what he was doing it, or he knew but just fucking fagged on with taht bulll shit excuse.
Extremely based user.
Also another one.

It shat the bed in terms of story and character for the last few seasons.
He flew away to new lands, he didn't fit in so he looked away to somewhere new and flying away on a bunch of pigeons looked cool. I honestly believe him because he has confirmed a bunch of shit that was theorized before like Helga's mom being an alcoholic and Mr. Simmons being in a gay relationship that upset his family, I think he would have just said that it was suicide if that was the case. Honestly don't blame you for thinking as much though, I thought the same thing for years.
I've been trying to find clips of the clayface scene i mean, but it looks like they've been purged.
I wonder if the scene from the batman begins movie qualifies. It's certainly emotional. Spoilers for the batman begins movie.

I never knew how Arnold could like his "friends" after what they did to pigeon man
What? Of course? By what metric? God this autism trolling is so annoying.
Bojack has his moments but every Princess Carolyn focused episode hits it where it hurts

Tryhard
>Marceline x Ice King is best ship prove me wrong
Marceline x Ice Queen is a lot better, bro.
Youre why AT is dead user
Jesus OP you need to try harder
youtu.be
All of courage really, but this one really gets me.
This episode ruined Marceline for me forever. How many layers of daddy issues does one girl need?
none of it matters anymore
>This episode ruined Marceline for me forever.
Well that's just your problem
underrated post, probably my favorite scene in the show
THIS. Courage shits all over Sugar's "pls clap for my crying uwu" faggotry
Ruthie hit me harder but you need the entire episode for context. This one works much better as a standalone clip

>oof right in the feels
