Cartoons only you remember existing
Cartoons only you remember existing
The magazine was a huge part of my childhood. I got introduced to many films because of Mad magazine.
The last good cartoon network show
It was hit and miss. The Nintendo princess patent was pretty good.
>"That's your bad guy?!"
Call my taste garbage but this was the shit, I would watch it if it was rebooted and I don't care. Closest thing I've seen that comes close to this concept is Accel World.
Oh come off it, mate. Fuckin' everyone on Yas Forums is at least somewhat fond of Chaotic. Partly because it was actually a solid show, mostly because hot monster babes.
Really, most of the mid-late 2010s monster battle shows were at least watchable.
I don't come here often.
I didn't care much for the movie/tv parody skits at the beginning and end of each episode, but I loved all the stuff they threw in the middle. I loved how that was presented, it was like a mini animation film festival during those points.
I think you may have to be European to have seen this.
Doubt.
Lolwut
The fact it was actually trying to stay true to the magazine while the night show was clearly just copying SNL was worth something.
Pearly, aka the only thing on the Qubo channel that was even watchable at all.
The books are much better. If you liked the cartoon, try the books.
me and my buddy used to fucking LOVE these movies when we were really young. Acceleracers too
Anyone know the name of that cartoon about twin brothers were one of them is a lazy asshole who eats sandwiches all day and the other is a hyperactive, nice dude???
It aired in Latin America, remember seen it in Discovery kids
Cramp Twins?
A local grocery store had DVDs of this in their checkout for about eight years.
I kinda liked it, in its day.
FINALLY
SOMEONE ELSE WHO REMEMBERS ACCELERACERS
the series as a whole is still at the top of my "favorite movies" list, sitting next to The Truman Show and the Sonic OVA
No. Not the one. The brothers are also much older
Something about one making fiends and the other making friends
That 1 where the villains are like the Borg but there's only 3 of them and they're terrestrial-tier. Heroes consisted of the main villain's brother, a little girl genius, a dog the villains tried to assimilate and a sort of genius computer guy who was kind of a jerk. All of the heroes came together in single episodes over the first few. What's weird is the show didn't have some obscure-as-fuck time slot for it's time, but no one can name it. Might have technically been Yas Forums, but had a western-looking style at a time when anime was getting a more distinct 1.
I'd say Secret City, but I only remember the name because someone posted the REALLY obscure title that used the host's actual name. I should look up the final episode to see the city's final form.
Still waiting on season 3, it's gonna happen someday, r-right bros?
We had a thread about this days ago.
When nicktoons had original content, I miss the late 2000s
shut up bitch
>Cartoons only you remember existing
>Making Fiends
Face the truth.
I'm not very familiar with the magazine but even as a kid I knew the show stunk.
I made that thread and every post in that thread was me only.
Dude, what? People post Vlcsnap on here all the time. It's usually a more interesting show than Maxresdefault.
excellent taste my man, i still go back and rewatch em from time to time. i never actually finished acceleracers though, is it worth it?
Yep! There's a bit of a cliffhanger at the end, but the last movie is still by far the best one
you can find the whole series on YouTube, and there are 2 mini-episodes between each Acceleracers movie - someone made a video of everything from the first frame of World Race to the closing credits of the last Acceleracers movie, so if you're up for marathoning it then that's the most convenient way
also, the acceleracers OST is top-tier
I have gigabytes of vlcsnap. One of the best shows.
I discovered this at the 99 cent store, it was pretty funny.
does anyone have a mega of this with all the episodes?
anyone?
>good
yeahno
youtube.com
Hey, at least it isn't Thundercats Roar
I fucking love Callahan, he was able to translate a genuine tragedy in his life into his own unique drawing style
I only remember this because I would stay up late on NickToons to watch Zim reruns
I remember an episode about a Harry Potter parody
Legit a good show.
But I'm a sucker for running gags.
good post
this is one of the most unpleasant things i've ever watched
youtube.com
I like how each episode had a new gag for how to get rid of the Fluffy Bunny Show
Fuckin' everyone remembers the Brothers Grunt thanks to a billion top ten videos including it for grossest/ugliest show
Does anyone know if everything from the nicktoons short film festivals has been preserved? I remember one that had sockum bop robots in it and one was a girl I think. Anyone have these?
i don't watch that shit
yup, had a huge crush on the blond
