I know it's hotly contested which of the four elements everyone would want if the world of Avatar was real...

i'd be a waterbending chad of course

nothing personal.

I can't remember firebenders flying in ATLA (except for comet buff). Is that an actual thing in Korra or something?

>itt: loserbenders cope that firebending the best

i believe water is easily the most broken, because you can change its state from water to ice, probably even evaporate it, and as shown in the series could be used to even cut materials like fucking steal. Imagine bending poison. Also heal abilities.
Its change in nature and adaptability makes it the best, but the problem is you need water with you, so even if super broken is also super balanced, which is great for story telling but sucks as super power.

I'll pick airbending simply because it lets you fly and has direct impact in how you move, like this guy said:

korra is fucking shit

I think Azula was able to do a rocket jump during the attack on the air temple.

>Also heal abilities.
only roasties get it tho

Azula could, Jeong Jeong could, Iroh could, and I think even Mako's useless ass did it once. It's definitely not a common or easy technique, but it doesn't require Sozin's Comet.

imagine just water punching someone
