It's slightly unfair to compare a disney movie song to one from a tv movie (yes I know roj was meant to be a launch plot for the tv show, but it wasn't)

Other Friends only has a very strong chorus. Everything else is mediocre and people only really love that chorus. It’s the only thing they sing over and over. Plus, the song is inherently tied to the story of the movie. If you’ve never seen SU you wouldn’t get the lyrics. You might love the song but only for the tune. Plus, for all the setup it gives Spinel as a bad bitch, it’s all dismantled by the end. So more than a villain song it’s just her being mean for a while.
I’m the bad guy is awesome throughout and even if you have never seen WOY the lyrics are self explanatory. It’s the perfect representation of what Dominator is as a character. It’s the best one of the bunch.
Second Rate is trash, not sure how it can be compared to the others.

Songs in Steven Universe are almost like jingles. They barely feel like musical numbers at all. I have no idea how people buy soundtracks to this shit.

2 sidekicks betraying the MC just to be redeemed shortly after was stupid as fuck, the fact there was only 3 seasons so far and those events happened over the course of a few months only makes things even more ridiculous

is not a singer and she is clearly not talented nor trained, she is terrible and singing.

Except she is a trainedprofessional singer-songwriter with albums out and everything.

She's no broadway ingenue but she's clearly got a fantastic character voice and a LOT of excellent training. Her technique on Bad Guy is immaculate.
