Any time I've mentioned that Yas Forums loved Vision and that one Hal Jordan issue he wrote the conversation either stops and the thread dies or people try to say it was only a very small portion of Yas Forums that liked it. Yas Forumsmmies were acting like he was a new Moore or Morrison for a minute.

King's batman was REALLY bad, but this is 10/10.

The shorter and more contained King's books are the better his writing is.

yeah, this. The initial storytimes (over four years ago now, wow) were received really well here. It was definitely unsettling and suspenseful enough, especially as Virginia started to go full Wanda-mode and shit started to unravel.
then Tom King moved on to other things, and people realized that literally all of his work was the same shit about depression and suicidal shit.

His writing is extremely robotic. This comic is literally about robots. It kind of wins by default.

His only comic that works, probably because the characters are androids and his dialogues are very "cold".
The problem is he never stopped writing depressed androids.
