A big cunt with big titties.

This page was "leaked" last week so most people have probably seen it but let's go over it again.

The dialogue here is very weird. Lucy's response, played off as a bombshell, is reliant on Mike choosing to speak of her "planning" to treat a gift from him. His large point clearly still stands if you remove that odd semantic hang-up.

It makes me think, along with the rather strange idea of David giving Lucy a "simulated present from Mike" that this sequence originally featured Mike giving Lucy a gift and her throwing it away.

(What should have been Mike's response if there was a competent Editor)

Mike: No, no, no Lucy, you are dodging the question, it doesn't matter if you thought I was going to give you a gift, the problem is that you threw someone's gift into the trash, that's a shitty thing to do.

Well it has to match.

don't bring in logic into this, otherwise you'd have to explain why on earth he'd keep hanging out with the people enabling her bullshit and by extension, her.

In the current, possibly hastily re-worked, version that was DAVID's gift and she may well have broken whatever was inside by throwing it across the room and for a cheap spur-of-the-moment gag about how much she hates Mike. This was supposed to make her seem less of an asshole than if she had thrown away a gift from Mike?

We know that Taeshi has the comic finished, she probably had this scene planned out, but then she rewrote it into this.

I was actually expecting this to be an actual present from Mike that he asked David to give so the others wouldn't start ganging on him because now I'm pretty sure they are shitting on Mike on anything he does so they can get some of Lucy's puss puss.

Well, maybe he could've went there if the bell didn't conveniently ring at the pefect time to shut him up.
Maybe Mike's just learned to keep his sperg-fits in check during class time.

Garbage day WHEN?

>wall of text

What is this an amazil comic

Here's hoping patreanon didn't get caught yet. Or that Taeshi decides to update of Wednesday. A man can dream.

I'm willing to bet that Mike actually did get her a present that he was planning on giving her later. It's obvious at this point that he misses her as much as he hates her. But I doubt there'll really be any development of that with only four pages left.

Wait what I remember from the con chapter is Mike heavily implying that he didn't dress as his character because the character is a girl. Is this a retcon or some weird 3D gaslighting

You said wall of text, but I don't think it means what you think it means

>Not knowing that Taeshi(or Bagfag) edits older pages

I think it was Paulo who said that was the reason he didn't dress up... Also, Mike is a crossdresser, cannon.

I dunno, Mike's the one responding to Paulo's question with a blush and "well we're supposed to be our characters..."

Do not read this comic.

>We're not friends so why would I expect anything from you?

That makes no sense. That really doesn't matter. The action implied you would have thrown it out anyway right in front of him like a cunt.

WHY DIDN'T I LISTEN?

Does Lucy deserve a second chance?

lucy deserves violent, carnal retribution

Also known as "Being Alej's plaything"

Would depend if she could clean up her bullshit

Edgy

Why are we getting chapter after chapter of Lucy being cold and apathetic, just to have a flashback chapter sandwiched in between showing that her past-self had an ounce of self-awareness?

Is the other shoe supposed to drop at any point or are we just expected to accept and applaud nuLucy?

Mike joining Alejandro's gang in response to being outcasted by his friend group when?

>Mike and Al genuinely bond over their dislike for thots

This better happen soon. We've been waiting for closure of the Alejandro arc for a decade now and it's time someone teaches Lucy a lesson.

Here here!

The morale of BCB is that you can't always get justice against your abuser and that it's better to just move forward with your life than to let the trauma of an abusive bitch / rapey cousin cause you to stew in your own toxicity

She does, but it would need to happen in a way such that Lucy actually changes as a person, and that's obviously not going to happen. Lucy isn't facing any pressure from her friends to stop being a bitch, so that only leaves Mike as a cause for her to change, and she's proven that she genuinely does not give a shit about him anymore. You could point to giving him advice during the Halloween chapter, but since nobody knows what her motives are anyway, I'm going to assume she was just trying to help Paulo, since he was trying to cheer up Mike and she felt guilty about how she treated him.

What would need to happen is that Mike fucks off from everyone for a while, and then Lucy does something to piss everyone off. As long as Mike is around, Lucy can never be the bad guy.

She's right. Nothing important.

Based

Lucy doesn't need a lesson, nothing is going to change her wretched personality if attempted suicide doesn't.
Mike needs the lesson, namely that his 'friends' really aren't his friends, and that he would be so much better off if he left them behind and did not look back.

That would be fine if the abuser wasn't actually Lucy and if Taeshi hadn't just decided to turn Mike into a douchbag overnight and then do the stupid ironic thing where his friends now hate him and love Lucy, the bitch that prefer to stay with a dude that sexually assaulted Daisy and not tell them why.

I'm really wondering if this isn't a revenge fantasy for Tae like Mike's friends is deciding to stay with someone who's way worse than him. I wonder if Mike isn't just a badly written stand-in for her cousin or FagBag

We already have the "Goldie's Revenge" fan theory so I can see that.

Lucy strikes me as one of those bitches who would only start feeling bad again once Mike legit stops interacting with her in any fashion. No sperg fits, no happy birthdays, nothing at all. Just ignore that she is there.

I don't like how the comic is spoonfeeding people to believe that Mike has to be pussywhipped yet still has his balls stomped on constantly while Lucy has to be a saint while still being a total bitch.

I really hate how the Facebookers are saying shit like "Isn't this what you wanted, Mike?" So answer me this, if he's not supposed to be friends with Lucy, why is he still expected, even threatened, to be nice to her?

Goldie's Revenge?

It's especially absurd since you don't need to be friends with someone for basic politeness.

They're referring to another girl Oliver was talking to after getting into a relationship with Veronica. Taeshi considered it "emotional cheating". It almost broke up their relationship and apparently caused harm decades later. There's a whole blog post about it out there.

Sounds like a nutjob

Don't forget, she's still apparently so traumatized by this they hold a fucking month of mourning about it.

background cuties?

I want more freckles catto's

Absolutely. BCB is a revenge/power fantasy by Taeshi. It's why Lucy is such a mary-sue and nothing really ever goes horrible for her. Even her suicide attempt only managed to make her more of a matyr for the series.

Mike will forever get dunked on because he's a stand-in for Bagboy. Nothing about this is original, it's why it flows so badly - it's why the fucking side-characters mean abso-fucking-lutely nothing. Or why the gang-plotline go dropped...ect.

When Taeshi is writing characters not based of her/bagman/closest BFFs she tends to blackout and forget how to do anything or quitely push them aside.

The funniest thing was people honestly thinking this comic would get better or be more interesting when they brought Lucy back.

Just in case anybody cares there's a few points of interest from Patreon. She unlocked this: patreon.com/posts/unlocked-dump-29177617. One of the Mike sketches looks a late volume 1 drawing, which again makes me think the bobbleheads aren't her natural style.

Another thing of note is that Mini-comic 5 is titled "Dog Moment." Given that dogs are the black people of bcb, this chapter could alternatively be titled "Nigga Moment," which almost makes me want to read it. Almost.

Background characters have more soul than any of the main cast, this is a fact

>Should Lucy’s happiness look mischievous? Should she instead be happy in a “lol whatever” way? Or should the focus be on Mike as he walks away? Should Lucy even be visible in the final panel?
The result doesn't make a lot of sense unless Lucy is a giant asshole.

I'm surprise she considered Lucy focusing on Mike's exit as the idea that she doesn't care about him at all (except when she has a chance to slag him off) has been the rule since then.

Attached: 95-97v3.jpg (831x1850, 339.47K)

actually it was better when Lucy was gone

So is this a trainwreck in progress or just really dramatic?

It's been a trainwreck for years.

Stop at chapter 80 for a melancholy yet still satisfactory ending.

It's a wreck that keeps on wrecking. Like, the train is already a explosive blaze, the attached railcars have piled on top of each other but more trains just crashing headfirst into it.
Now local traffic is piling up for miles beside it waiting for someone to move the rubble because it's blocking the road and we just want to move on already,

Attached: I'D BE RIGHT HAPPY TO.png (684x465, 48.37K)

this is just making me more and more curious, out of curiousity I went ahead and read the latest few chapters
why is everyone so mean to mike?

He was short-tempered with them once each so now they despise him despite being them all being friends for half their lives.

The comic should have ended at Happy Hour. Past that , it's mainly Tae fixating on her favorite characters, running out of ideas for them and turning things into self insert shit.

Dial Tone and Model Girlfriend are exceptions, as they brought the plot back to Mike, Lucy and Sandy and made it seem like Mike and Sandy would break it off, Lucy would come back a changed person, Mike and Lucy would reconcile and we'd get the MikexLucy ending that was expected and presumably planned for years

Attached: happy hour 51.jpg (1600x2146, 527K)

Mike's kind of an asshole without context, but the majority of his outbursts are warranted and it seems like he's the only person not taking crazy-pills while the other characters just act oblivious to what's going on around them.

Attached: mike-btfo2.jpg (1211x4364, 3.31M)

because Mike has been a bit of a spergy bitch lately. That being said his friends are also shit as they barely support him and when it comes to Lucy who by all means is a colossal cunt but when it comes down to the two of em they always side with her

>This comic won't end for another 10 years.

Blows my mind how far this comic has come.

>he's the only person not taking crazy-pills while the other characters just act oblivious to what's going on around them.

Good point. Actually if the comic was cancelled and a different writer would pick it up, I could see him retconning some stuff so Mike is the one who is actually growing up in the group.

Like they could explain that the reason why everyone is being overly nice so Lucy and why in the past they wanted to make MikexLucy official was because they didn't want things to change.

Like when Lucy tells him that he doesn't care about him anymore. We could have never seen Mike for chapters, maybe an year in the comic's time, and when he's back, he moved on, he changed... He could even have some interesting art symbolism, where the chibi art style sticks for awhile Mike is gone, and when he "returns", the style changes to one that is a bit more realistic, like from December
