I liked these episodes better than the first two we got as a preview. Particularly The Chosen One Stinks was fun and involved actual monsters. I was just watching the Nate is Late episode where Nate's mom tells him to clean his room too. Shows what a tired premise "smelly boy needs to clean his room" is, I suppose. Of course it's not like anybody was expecting this show to break the mold.

The music is good. The theme is catchy, and the incidental music is fun and often a bit video gamey.

No, but we did get two other monster ladies. The second one had somewhat the same energy.

I thought the monster girl (Horfer?) was kind of cute despite the awkwardly place bean mouth and midriff-but-not-really.

I agree. I thought The Chosen One Stinks was actually pretty good compared to the preview episodes which were dire and a really poor first impression. The movie episode was pretty forgettable though. I guess this show is going to be pretty hit or miss.

To be fair, Canada does occasionally give a shit about making a decent show (Carmen Sandiego, Dragon Prince), but because those aren't on traditional TV, they don't get half as much publicity as this Nickelodeon/Nelvana shit.
