Newgrounds definitely had a 'house style' in that people often imitated (or collaborated) with popular animators to the point that certain styles are very common on the site. I think that the image is significantly less detailed than the actual Newgrounds style but I can see what they were going for. Just goes to show random 12 year olds using Flash in the early 2000s are more talented than people who enjoy Calarts style today.

The only thing I really disagree with in the post is that 'epic funnymen' is used to describe anyone with Calarts style.
