We're just one month away from the return of animation kino. It's been nearly a year since we first got our taste but soon it will be in our grasps.
Looney Tunes Cartoons 2020

and I'm probably the only person looking forward to it.
I’m excited for it, unfortunately HBO Max won’t be where I live. So I’ll have to wait till someone links the shorts online.
Got a clip of that?
Man, I know the yellow gloves are OG, but it just don't work for me.
There's no clip of that short. Just a screenshot. The only things we've seen so far are the Dynamite Dance preview and also a leaked clip that features Daffy & Porky.
Got the leaked clip?
GRAIN
yee they added artificial grain to give it that authentic feel.
I agree, they look a bit TOO yellow, maybe tone it down and it'd be better if they don't want them to be fully white.
That said, I'm really excited about the show, saw a clip in a different thread and loved what they're doing with the animation.
I hope other shows animator learn from this but I won't really bet on that.
no guns
Webm version.
Name one funny gag that they would need a gun for that wouldn't already be stale.
make a webm out of Dynamite Dance
Finally, some cartoons with actual detail on its characters instead of same-face calarts
>Dynamite Dance
Here you go, user. Sorry for the size, file limit's too small here.
Here's a small extract And here's the full sized one
files.catbox.moe
Not perfect, but a step in the right direction.
>Elmer Fudd chasing him with a scythe
???
Is Yosemite Sam going to hold fucking sickles?
>a weapon like that is okay but a shotgun is too much
Scythes and explosives in general are okay but a gun is way too much.
explosives are more brutal than any gun
Nice
Yeah, it doesn't make much sense to not allow those cartoony guns than ended up exploding like the already allowed explosives anyway.
I'm sure guns are probably gonna be there in some fashion at some point. You literally cannot do anything with Sam who is literally a gunslinger unless all his shorts are going to be gimmicky shit where they make him a pirate or something that wouldn't really need him having a gun.
It's looking good.
If I remember right, I think he has yellow gloves depending on the enviromental pallet of the episode.
His entire colour pallet actually changes slightly from episode to episode to fit with the layouts.
Managed to catch in Annecy but no HBO Max, so I'll probably have tp hope that it pops up elsewhere.
>mfw the cartoons have no dialogue like the shitty new garfield
We already know there will be dialogue
why are old looney tunes still airing then ?
I've been watching the 2011 Looney Tunes show and I'm looking forward to this.
How do the other Looney Tune shows hold up? Is Lunatics Unleashed as shitty as it looks?
pretty good
Me too.
I’m so excited for this, don’t worry OP. They’re just not out yet so I haven’t been talking about them.
Lunatics is actually really good, it's kinda like Batman TAS mixed with Samurai Jack
When the episodes get released, people are definitely going to talk about them more.
It's such a nice refreshing change to the animation we've been getting lately.
why did they dump all these resources into a streaming-only show for a platform not many people have?
the actual network never gets 'high budget' cartoons
Cartoon Network has lost the right to air good shows by now
Like Disney Plus this is a big deal to them and I assume takes some of that HBO money where the productions are decent to high budget
I really enjoyed the 90s LT shows. You don't need to watch Wabbit, pretend it doesn't exist.
do we know of any other cartoons that will be hbo max-only
Jellystone which will be kino
That live action LT Roger Rabbit like show
Two shitty CN original shows that everyone thinks look awful
Supposedly Infinity Train is moving to HBO Max
>Infinity Train is moving to HBO Max
aww, thats like one of the only ongoing CN shows i actually like. i feel like theyve never given it a proper chance on tv
>Two shitty CN original shows that everyone thinks look awful
Why the rudeness?, Fungies maybe it'll boring but I'm rooting for Tiggle Winks.
They save a lot of money not syndicating their shows, and it allows for much more creative freedom.
>it a proper chance on tv
It have, that's a disadvantage of miniseries
It really isn't a good fit for modern cn anyway like it would have been a few years back
Apologies if that was rude, I just haven't heard anything positive about either of these shows
whens the last time CN syndicated anything?
Nah, I think Yas Forums's mostly cautiously optimistic.
Except for gunfags.
It didn't even premiered user, fuck don't get influenced by the opinion of one or two OPs
>Yas Forums's mostly cautiously optimistic
I agree, it can't be 100% good, there will be flaws like with anything and people don't want more disappointment.
wait they're rebooting Yogi Bear?
This seems to have pretty high budget which probably means a cancellation after one season since the audience for this just doesn't exist anymore
Almost!
>“Jellystone,” a new, animated children’s comedy series from Warner Bros. Animation welcomes you to the town of Jellystone
>a charming place where your favorite Hanna-Barbera characters live, work and play together…but, at the same time, can’t help but stir up trouble for one another.
>The animated series will include classic characters such as Yogi Bear, Boo-Boo, Augie Doggie, Doggie Daddy, Ruff, Yakky Doodle, Shag Rugg, Jabberjaw, El Kabong, Top Cat, Captain Caveman, Cindy Bear, Mildew Wolf, Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks, Peter Potamus, Snagglepuss, Magilla Gorilla and more.
>The series is executive produced by C.H. Greenblatt (Chowder) and Sam Register.
Also, the art style in pic related will be pretty much it, since it's done by Greenblatt.
>Two shitty CN original shows that everyone thinks look awful
WHAAAAT?!
THEY LITERALLY HAVE CN FOR THIS KIND OF SHIT ALREADY!!!!
wasnt the gumball crew / CN Studios Europe working on some new show
kys wojakfag
There are ones with dialogue that exist, they just haven't been shown yet outside of festivals (the Mummy one and a basketball short have them).
I read something that said they originally were going to be released in theaters, but the distributors didn't like that.
HBO Max's animation lineup is the reason why I buying the service, yes it's overpriced, but at least 90% of the originals won't suck ass like Disney+.
