I don't know, but apparently there's usually a lot of ways to solve things and it can be worth your while to be underhanded and keep good relations with all factions--so far the tradeoff has been "are you willing to do more work for a better/more balanced outcome, or are you a to the point" type

It will never cease to amuse that people who are dedicated to fiction about vigilantes get angry over the presence of political themes.

CHA is never a dump stat, but it's especially important in a game where you literally play as a politician. Finally a game that knows the true power of the bard.

Huh. I like that.

Yeah, you can brute force things, but then you run more of a risk of pissing people off. It's nice to have options--I put my starting point into Charisma, if I'd put it into SCIENCE! or lockpicking I had different paths to get the same place.
