>Okay how are Phineas and Ferb step brothers??? If their parents have been together for 15 years. Candance is 15. phineas and Ferb are younger or idk how old? Why does ferb have green hair? Guys I NEED ANSWERS !

>The parents have been together 8 years, not 15. Ferb’s paternal grandfather had green hair and that skips a generation.

um, so?

it is quite obvious that they have modified their DNA

Writers themselves have occasionally forgotten that Linda and Lawrence don't have common children.

when

I meant that they fuck up their chronology. Like they seem way too young in anniversary episode.

Swingers gotta swing.

The show never once bothered with showing or mentioning Phineas and Candace's father.

I thought the father was Perry.

Yes they have.

No. No, they haven't.

Yeah dude he's in every episode

lol

>pointy nose
>pointy head
>same hair
>both inventors
MY GOD.

The Fletcher family has a history of mad science.

>right and left arms have differently-colored outlines

Phineas does not usually have anything to do with the inventing, that's all Ferb.

The CONSTRUCTING is all Ferb. Phineas crafts the ideas. They're both inventors that way.

And even then, every "Quirky Worky" montage shows both boys building together.

That has been debunked by Dan and Swampy so many times.

I always liked this theory.
Too bad it was debunked and some fun-hating people shit on it and prefer just no reference to Phineas' real father instead of joking with this.

>no reference to Phineas' real father
They did in the Star Wars special

They did?

Some people actually believe in the theory to this day.

>>The parents have been together 8 years, not 15.

That puts the boys at being between ten and twelve, which makes a lot more sense than the eight years old Act Your Age made Phineas.

How did Act Your Age imply Phineas was eight?

Most people head off to college at eighteen. Does Phineas really seem like the kinda guy to sit around for two years or more and not do anything?

yes

Is Dan Povenmire just JK Rowl-ing at this point?

I think it's because of the background color; his arm also has a black outline where the shadow is on his lab apron.

Not at all.

He tries to make sense out of a show that isn’t designed to make sense.

>it was debunked
how so?

It's a question that didn't make sense in the first place though since we saw a flashback to when the boys met.

Yet he answered it anyway

This is part of Perry's dream. He met them when Phineas and Ferb were already together, so he assumed that was how they met.

Because he was correcting a weirdly common misconception about the show; a lot of people miss that it's a blended family.

It matches with the flashback where they got Perry though since that was three years later.

The creators straight up said it wasn't true.

The point is that they did not meet like this, if we take into account Linda's comment in Agent Doof, they have been together since they were babies.

Plus they've been doing that for years since it's been a popular fan theory almost from the start. .

that's a shame, it fits so well, and is appropriately goofy

Damn I thought there’s an episode in PnF where it’s mentioned that Linda and Lawrence had been together for 15 years. My bad.

That was just a goof by the writers like mentioned.

Of course that episode also had Candace refer to it being a television show so it was a bit out there anyway.

It doesn't seem to be a mistake, there is nothing that contradicts that.

>in their modern designs here
>first started dating in the late 80s

They could’ve dated a long time before they married.

Or time in PnF is so relative and messed up that we should just ignore it and enjoy the comedy

Meant to reply to

>This is part of Perry's dream.

He's not important. The entire point is that they have a functional family now, Linda's sperm donor is irrelevant

I know it's autistic to argue this point, but I also know where I am.
Death of the author; Their input doesn't matter except for the show itself.

>except for the show itself.
“What Do It Do?” was written to debunk the theory

BASED

This is how Phineas and Ferb met Perry, not how the Flynn Fletchers met.

Love Handel was an '80s band that lasted into the late '90s before breaking up.

That sounds like something they made up as they went.

Probably; I wouldn't be surprised if the idea of their parents meeting at an '80s rock concert dates back to when the show was first pitched and they just kept it in there without really considering what it did to the show's timeline.

What about ?

>"I dunno, Ferb, it really does feel like it's been longer than 104 days."

That probably was in the '80s and Linda and Heinz are both in their early forties.

That and it was before she even became Lindana.

Isn't there an episode where he interacts with Linda? I have vague memories of flashback showing them interacting when they were young adults
Am I going crazy, lads?

>Dated when they were young
>Broke up
>Each built a family of their own
>Stuff happens, they are single again after having kids
>Find each other once again and get married because they still loved each other

Not that hard, faggots
