Except the creators behind this show clearly DO GIVE a fuck. They straight up spoof episodes of the original like the one where Raven's personality aspects get separated or the one where Starfire travels to the future. Throught the run of the series there are numerous mimics of the original that go beyond the simple purpose of reboot familiarity. There are also multiple moments where they mock and make fun of their critics or simply bash on the original. They are childish asshole with shit taste.
