Star VS is a cautionary tale about what happens when you try to be Steven Universe and fail. Literally everything people criticised SU for (and was never true) turned out to be true with Star. Add to that also the merging of two realities for no apparent reason aside a dumb teenage girl can be together with her now equally dumb boyfriend and you get a shitty mess of a finale. I do not like Steven Universe, but at least it felt as if Steven somehow managed to also achieve a "good ending" for others but himself.

Both PnF and AT became non-factors as soon as real competition arrived.
