I don't really see it that way, he was basicly the reason of why everything was fixed in the first place and even though other heroes made fun of him at the start of the film, he was shown to be one of the most competent team members. Funny thing is that right at the end he saved the lives of the Avengers that made fun of him. Also, Scott Lang was able to verbally btfo Tony Stark and not a lot of people can do that in the MCU.

Most of the Avengers that talked to him are kind of assholes. Rhodey was still butthurt about the Civil War fight, Rocket and Tony are just assholes and Nebula is not nice in general.

Nobody was done more dirty than Hulk.
Being a logical human being I assumed they were saving Hulk for Endgame as the reason why they hid him in Infinity war. And what do we get? CGI Mark Ruffalo begrudgingly denting a fucking car.
He doesn't even get to punch Thanos with everybody else. He just doesn't seem to exist at all in the climax.
That was never how Professor Hulk was. Professor Hulk had Banner's mind, but he actually liked tearing shit up. He was just in control of it. Basically he was the slightly pissed off Banner from Avengers 1, but in Hulk form.

You are right, it's not super rare for him to get called out without him having anything to say in response but what I liked from that particular moment from Scott is that he was right when he called him out and Tony knew he was right but still got butthurt about it, he even tried to comeback at him with a quip but by that point it just looked petty and childish
